this app used to work but I nearly lost an account entirely, it just stopped showing codes when i needed one to log in on my computer. Not only that, I couldn't click on a single thing anymore without it forcing ads and promotion for its new subscription service in my face. I was scared there was literally nothing I could do to get into my account. I was very lucky one of my devices happened to still be logged in so I could turn off 2FA and save my account.
Filled with ads. I was interrupted three times with ads trying to simply authenticate my login to the GeForce experience on my PC. There is nothing convenient about this system of authenticating. At one point there was a pop-up that was designed to make it seem like my credit card was required to be able to use the authenticator. This is one of the shadiest apps I have ever used.
I don't recall having to pay for this app before, now it's an $8/mo subscription? Excuse me?? 😂 I don't even need to use it that often but you want me to pay for an app that sits idle 99.9% of the time? Gtfo
