Useless, especially if you're unable to use your phone at school (many schools don't allow staff to use phones for safeguarding, or there may be no signal). Now unable to use paid-for software like Exam wizard because of this insane hurdle. Why do I need to use my personal phone to access work materials when every other 2FA company is able to use email authentication, like Pearson did? Wants my biometric data. Yeah, right. Ain't gonna happen. Time to change Exam board to a sensible one.
Adds unnecessary steps for log in, email verification was annoying enough. I'm unsure what information is trying to be kept secure, but students can get most past exam questions from other websites, even 'secure' ones. I only use this due to the ease of use of the filters, and this extra step is forcing me to consider alternatives
The verification codes don't give access to the website. They just keep generating and you keep entering new codes on the website for it to disappear after you select 'submit'. You end up endlessly repeating this process and getting nowhere.
