UDATE :A lot of us who have the LEGACY authenticator are having an issue where the app isnt popping up the approve or denial tab in order to complete the handshake and I'm at a loss as to what to do about that. 🤷🏽♂️ had gotten hacked a few times around 2011/2012. blizz sent me a physical authenticator for free when both the mobile and physical versions were paid only and I was never hacked again.I started using this app around 2013, I wouldn't go without it honestly.
Logging in is a big headache. It will ask for the authenticator security code if you have it enabled. But it's telling me to switch over, how do I get the code if the app is the authenticator? Some serious user experience disconnection. Especially if you haven't logged in awhile and don't remember the last password used... very confusing. But after a lot of clicks, it worked. Also, I have a feeling this app is just giving them free phone data. I may uninstall, might not be worth the headache.
This app used to work alot better. The one touch authentication was convenient. However over the past few months it gets caught in a loop where it requests approval, only to clear the password and make you start again. This can happen several times in a row. I have opened tickets and filled bug reports, yet this still isn't fixed. Despite having account hacking issues in the past, the developer really doesn't seem concerned about fixing this.
