Hate this app so much and want the actual authenticator app back. You know, the one that did one job and did it well, plus it had a widget so you didn't even have to open the app at all just to get a code. In terms of using this pos to chat with, message notifications don't work (though friends playing does) even with notifications wide open in both the app and phone settings. It also has to "reconnect" all the time, which takes forever. It's insane that this app is basically required.
I use this as a (mandatory) replacement for the old authenticator. In order to verify a login from my computer, I need to login to this app. Because I'm logging in from this app, it needs authentication. The way it bounces back and forth to a browser is inefficient and frustrating. If you use the other features in the app, it might be better for you. As someone who just wants to login to play WoW, it's bloat on my phone and doesn't work as well as the software it replaces.
Hands down the worst authentication app ever made. The moment you set it up you're logged out and from what I can tell it's not even possible to log into the app past that. Even if I'm quick and copy paste the code and log in, it gets stuck in an in app browser. Absolutely pathetic from a company like blizzard, although it's par for the course for them.
