Pros: Good app UI, setting up accounts is easy, transferring money is pretty simple. Cons: Both my Equifax & Transunion scores dropped 23 points after having a balance on my Chime Credit card (Which isn't really a balance at all, bc you have to put money in the credit account to use the card period, so the "balance" was the amount I put in, which is also the credit limit). That reason alone makes Chime credit not worth it imo, the debit card is fine, nothing special about it.
Great bank and app, almost a 5 star but a few issues I don't like. The home screen needs to be more customizable... I don't like having a "file taxes with us" section separating my accounts, also that you can't get rid of. I'd also like to be able to change the order of what appears on my home screen. Example: checking, savings, then credit, and then ads... currently it's stuck away credit, ads, checking, ads, savings, etc. If this feature gets added to the app I'll have a 5 star review!
I love the banking experience but the app is not up to date. I'm running it on a Pixel 7a and a Pixel tablet, both running Android 14. I'm logging in with my fingerprint on both, after which I am prompted to setup my PIN, which means entering it twice. Every time. On both devices. It's frustrating when I'm in a hurry which is often as I'm busy. What's the point of doing this over & over, especially since it already knows my fingerprint! Other than that the app is great. 5 starts if that's fixed.
