I've used clue for years and it's been my favorite period app, but I'm so tired of absolutely everything turning to subscriptions, and more and more features being taken away and being locked behind pay walls. At this point all you can really do with the free version is just a basic period tracking. Shoot my fitbit app can do that! At this point I'd rather apps go back to either a paid version only, or the whole app is available for use, with ads. No more constant pop ups begging me to upgrade
I've used this app for years and appreciate that it's made tracking easy. That said, the push to upgrade to the paid version has become so aggressive and relentless in the last 6 months, that I don't know how much longer I'll stick with Clue. Literally every time I log in to log a symptom I get a pop up, and the most recent one wouldn't let me clear it without clicking through to the store. This is infuriating user experience and only makes me want to support your app LESS.
If you just need a simple tracker with a clean calendar layout and don't mind constantly being harried to pay pay pay through pop ups and banners, Clue still works. I'm honestly considering just keeping a journal. I literally only needed historical tracking and predictive cycles. Have to click through 2-3 ads every time I open it. Someday, the annoyance will outweigh the usefulness.
