It worked fine for a couple months. But every time I try to open a document or photo on my phone, this app is either overriding system preferences, or Android doesn't recognize any other option. I have tried modifying optimization settings, uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the cache, whatever. It's extremely frustrating that the only solution seems to be uninstalling it entirely.
Don't go to beta. I've had this app for years and had only minimal issues. So when they ask for me to go over to beta, I figure I should give some input on the workable issues I've had in the past. Now my app won't even open, crashes instantly, and it won't let me switch back to the old interface. Garmin was a leader for me in my wearable technology, but without the app, my watch is just a pedometer. It's not a great plan for customer retention.
Watch (Venu Sq) went off the rails last night, screen went blank I couldn't get the watch to do anything. Ended up sending an unintended alert to my emergency contacts. Now livetrack is turned on and I cannot get it to turn off. Googling instructions say it should be simple, but when I click on livetrack in the app, it will not allow me to get to the next screen or make any changes. I've tried unpairing, and restarting my phone and watch multiple times to no avail. Very frustrating.
