This is the real deal. I hate buying things that require a companion app, but this bluedriver is clearly an exception. 100% of the app is accessible without any subscription just so long as you have the device. The device and the app work perfectly together and the developers are constantly fixing bugs and adding compatibility for new vehicles. Very convenient and easy to use.
App is finicky. I have just spent 30 minutes trying to get the app to connect to the device. Not successful. It had worked in the past but it is kind of finicky, to put it politely. I have unpaired and repaired and it refuses to connect. Frankly the cheap $20 chinese one connected much more reliably.
Great app, can be used on a wide range of cars. Its easy to set up, tells you the codes and explains the problem along with recommended solutions and even a video to help give an idea on what to do to fix it. Can take you directly to what you need on Amazon to get the parts you need, Comes with a bunch of nice features as well.
