Great app!. The effect s and the background art is awesome. However, I have found that when I'm working on a photo and I'm trying out different effects. At some point the app starts to crash. Sharing a photo from Google Photos stops working and I have to go through the file browse system. This is using a pixel 8. After applying several filters and then trying different backgrounds on the same photo, The app starts to close on its own and I have to start all over again.
Pretty cool effects, though it seems to have lost some effects and styles to a sister app which asks for even more money. Still, what's there works well, although some effects don't apply unless they're tapped on several times. Ultimately, I won't keep the subscription, as I just don't see enough in there to justify the cost.
Money changes everything. I loved this app back in 2016 but upon reinstalling now, in the intro and setup screens, there is info about HD version that has the option to pay now or start a free trial, which you will pay for later. Oh, so to use this free you have to sign up, that makes sense. But no, it's entirely optional and the indicator to that is the tiny tiny X in the corner that takes you to the actual app, that requires no trial signup to use. Scummy tactics.
