Great App, clear sound, does the job with no fuss. Follow up: this app has stopped working. It appears to be recording sound but only saves a tiny fraction of the material that registers on the screen. For example, a 28 min recording might only save 2 mins, but you can't tell it will not keep the whole recording.
Does significantly better with low volume recording than my last app, and it doesn't collect and sell my personal information which is *apparently* too much to ask from other apps. Only complaints are that you can't automatically change the name of the recording and that you can't crop the audio -- but I guess that's the point of the "simple". Either way, it works really well and doesn't try to sell your information. Thank f#&!
The app isn't suitable for me because it can only record to MP3, not to WAV or FLAC. I never want to risk any singing or piano playing I record being unintelligible due to lossy encoding. Apart from that, the UI is simple and easy to use. The waveform while recording gives confidence it's working. One flaw: it's confusing that the record view shows the previous recording's waveform and timestamp prominently, not grayed out. It makes it look like pressing Record will resume recording from there.
