So far I'll give it 4 stars (just installed, may change after I give it some time). It has the one most essential feature any contacts app should have, but the default Google contacts app installed on my phone is missing: the ability to hide contacts without phone numbers. It's a basic feature, sure, but one Google failed to implement in theirs and completely dropped the ball on. This app has it, so I'm happy now. First time I've had to bother with getting a 3rd party contacts app though.
The main reason I downloaded this is because in the screenshot it shows the bar on the side where you can quickly jump to a letter in your contacts list. The default app removing this feature is why I was looking to install something else. But just like the built in app, and contrary to what the screenshot shows for this app, it doesn't have that. At least not on my phone.
DO NOT use this app! - you will lose all your contacts after 14 days unless you upgrade to the paid version. It WAS free, I've had it for a year with no problems, but they recently changed their terms, including for all current users who already have all their contact info stored and rely on it, they literally hold your data for ransome. They just did the same thing to their photo gallery app and I lost all my photos unless i pay for a new app to get them back again. Bait-and-switch RANSOMWARE!
