For the last ten years I've received word of the day notifications. Lately I noticed I haven't been getting them so I checked and the setting was turned off. I tried to turn it on and it directed me to my phone settings. From there, it told me this app doesn't send notifications. So I can't even "allow notifications". So that tells me it's an app problem. Update glitch maybe?
Dictionary is more than a collection of words and their definitions; it is a treasure trove of facts, scholarly insights, and stories about language. I can spend all day with the app...and sometimes do 🙂 (2019) 2023 Update. Please fix. Miss my words.
Just like another user mentioned...the user experience has been subpar lately. I'm no longer able to receive notifications for word of the day. The app is asking me to change my settings to get notifications, but I don't see the notification option in the app settings. Please figure this out
