Gboard is mostly a great keyboard app (probably the best on Android) marred by serious flaws: the clipboard history doesn't actually retain history, the microphone is currently too easy to accidentally enable, and the spacebar has dual purposes which makes it difficult to long press for cursor movement when it also enables other languages. Otherwise, it's a great keyboard and very intuitive.
Gboard is the best keyboard available in any device and any other keyboard. But since the last update the designers created a horrible flaw. The position of the MICROPHONE SYMBOL on the upper right needs to move somewhere else pronto. Trying to press "p" or "0", that happen to be 2 of the most common symbols, interferes with syntaxis. The finger goes to the MICROPHONE. It's impossible to avoid it. They are positioned waaaaaay too close.
BUG! When I use Gboard within any application to translate text, after sending, the text is NOT cleared from the input field. It sends, but then it immediately reappears, and I have to delete it manually before I can enter a new message. This is a huge annoyance, especially if I'm in the middle of live chat. I have to take the time to backspace over every character, or select all and delete. Otherwise, the old text remains and I'm adding to it. Also, please 10X the character limit! Thanks.
