It's one of the best apps to learn with. And you can gain a lot of knowledge even with the free version. My suggestion is I wish I could see the key of a riff while it is playing. I also wish I could specifically select whether I want to test myself on the major or minor scales when I enter the scale challenge mode. I don't like the fact that I have to do both of them.
Very cool app, I'm learning some things while having fun. I have always had a good ear for music. I can listen to just about any song and figure it out and that's great, what's not great is I have no idea how to make up my own music. One thing I would like is to be able to ad my own guitar chords to those that the app gives me to use in a key. For instance try playing Free Bird, it won't let me have an Fmaj, just an F#maj.
Want to like, functions are useful but the execution of the app is poor. The audio is nothing like a guitar, none of the 3. The range is completely off by two octaves and the tone quality is awful. I'm using a Google Pixel 2XL with the lastest build in June 2020. The ads are terribly distracting. If the audio were just ok, I would gladly pay for an ad free version. The poor audio combined with ads make the app unusable, sorry. I also noticed the dev has dozens of apps, never good Unfocused.
