I loved Ultimate Guitar growing up, but now it feels like a nonstop money grab. Even when I paid for the "Pro" level, every time I opened the app it tried to get me to pay for different services. The pro tabs rarely matched what the artists played when compared against YouTube videos, the app had glitches or issues syncing, and when I cancelled my service the day after they charged me, they only gave me a partial refund. I would recommend people just go to YouTube for song tutorials.
Ultimate guitar is a great app for finding good music. They also have all kinds of music lessons to teach you how to play your musical instruments better. Best of all, they really care about their clients. I've been using their software on two Microsoft laptops, an iPhone, and an iPad. When I switch back to Samsung, the app wouldn't let me in. Well, to make a long story short, they sent me a Username, Linked E-mail, and a Password that get me in, and I am so thankful for all their support.
This was my go to app for tabs. However, a few updates ago my downloaded songs stopped showing up offline if they were in a playlist. This made busking a bit more difficult, but whatever, I bought some data and moved on. I usually use my Bluetooth page turner pedal to let me control when it scrolls with my foot, but recently that feature stopped working too. I read on their forum that apparently a lot of people are having this same issue. Now I'm screwed. Why couldn't they just leave it alone?!
