Iffy at best. It locks & freezes. When a call comes in, I get a splash screen that won't let me do anything other than restart the phone (Android running 8.1). Recording function does not work, something wrong with keyboard as it constantly selects letters I didn't press. Great idea, very very poorly implemented. Had to uninstall and reinstall. When the app is running, my phone gets too hot to hold - uses way too much processing & battery power. Will probably delete app.
This used to be a great app. I made a lot of friends who wanted to learn English and learned a lot of useful phrases in other languages. I hadn't used it for a couple years and just tried to use it again and found its pretty bad. No calls connect for people looking for help. It says "Someone needs help" but when you try to answer it the call disappears. Try offering a native call, and no users pop up. Exiting the app and reopening sometimes will have them show up. It needs some work
It's a wonderful app for meeting new people and practicing your target language. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it costs too much to call native speakers even when you have purchased the PRO version. I believe that when you have signed up for PRO they should allow native calls to be free. Additionally, sometimes you are searching for a language partner to talk with and there is no one online.
