The app is good whenever it is by itself. With Android Auto connected, it has major bugs. Whenever the screen changes from light to dark or whenever I go under a bridge where my lights turn on, the screen disappears. Also, you have to accept the rides and Go Online from the phone than from Android Auto in your car, which is a major safety issue. It really needs to be made easier from these aspects for safety and easier accessibility for the drivers.
App's navigation directions (visual) appear to be pretty accurate and up to date with current traffic patterns. The audible navigation instructions are excellent and detailed. I would probably rate this app a 4.5 (say 5) if not for the below reason. BUT on my Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 the Setting for Dark Mode rarely works... AND when I FINALLY get the setting changed to Dark...it changes back to Always Off when I log off and back on. Very frustrating...and dangerous for nighttime driving.
this is the only app with a navigation feature that does not have an adaptive dark/light mode. if you have your setting on dark mode, it will stay that way while navigating from night to day, making it impossible to use the app while driving. it also will crash your vehicles infotainment screen when it adjusts from low light to bright light settings. giving you a blank black screen with no information to attempt to drive while with passangers. seem extreamly dangerous
