The challenges/medals seem okay but the app is awful. Slow, unreliable connection, you have to manually enter everything and upload a jpeg for proof as it doesn't tie in to other fitness trackers, and then the percentages don't tally up with your actual miles recorded. Did 100miles of a 100mile challenge and entered it manually for the app to say said I'd completed 99.99%. There are superior virtual challenge apps out there and for the price of the medals, I'd expect a better app from MedalMad.
Love the idea of this site. The app is okay but very misleading in terms of tracking. Makes it sound like there is a walking/running tracker you can use as part of the app. Also show a picture of a map with a route on it. Innocently asked customer service how to turn the gps tracking on to be told there is no tracking for the walks/runs. You can track percentage of progress but not with maps.
Medals good quality. Easy to submit screenshot of your own tracker or just add steps. Shows overall progress towards total. Issues: 1st challenge didn't record my completion, and points weren't added, had to get c/services to do both. 2nd medal got to 69.3 miles (target 70) and it's automatically completed me (really annoying). No way of checking what evidence you've submitted, not even using C/Services. Opening screen is newsfeed, would be much better to go straight to current challenge.
