Love this app, one of my favorites! Currently, the app crashes whenever I try to open any previous recordings that are longer than ~20 minutes. I assume that it's struggling to load such a long audio file but I almost never want to listen to the audio, I just want the list of birds. Would be nice if opening past recordings initially just produced a simple list, with the option to manually load audio when needed to avoid such strain, if that's the problem. Back to 5 stars when fixed.
The identification is better than I thought. Now I can have a list of all the birds I've ever seen! Hopefully, more great updates are coming in the future! Update: As I've been getting deeper into birding using this app, I discovered a problem. I can't import audio files, and since there isn't a share button, I can't send the audio file to myself! I really hope that this bug will be fixed. Great birding app, though. Update: The bug has been fixed.
Had my professor reccommend this to me. I've been looking for an app that can identify bird calls, and this is exactly what I wanted! It even picks up sounds somewhat farther away, so I don't scare the birds off. It gives very useful information, images, and sample calls of birds. Amazing app, I highly reccommend it for those who want to see what kind of birds are in their area!
