Gets the basic job done. But paying $120/year for the service I'd like more than absolute minimum. You can't send and commands when the car is turned on. No real time map updates when car is in motion. You only can see the updated location when the car is turned off. Not really sure if the car is even in motion except by getting errors about sending commands to the car. Sending the commands are terribly slow. Can take about a minute or longer to get generic preconditioning going.
a far from perfect app, but gets the job done. the map that tells you where your car is at isn't syndicated in real time, it's a snap shot of where your car is and then you have to wait and refresh the page several times before you get the next location. if your car got stolen, unfortunately they only show you how to get there by foot, not driving directions. Other things I disliked about the app was you can see your car unlocked and lock it, but you can see your sunroof open and can't close it
Absolute trash tech experience. Fails to load a lot. Fails to send commands to car. Fails to find car. But I guess I can update the theme of the app so that's great. Who is the product manager for this app because they have picked some terrible user stories on updates. Free advice, make it connect. Make it consistently connect. That is all. That's core of the app and bmw can't do it.
