I've been using the paid version of this app for over a year now and have been generally satisified. However, I currently have a track where only half the track was recorded, and I have tried multiple times exporting it and various formats, but it keeps failing, after working in the past. I either get an error message or the file is 0 kbs large. Trying to get assistance with this matter has also failed, so I'm leaving a review hoping for a reply. I need this urgently for work.
Perfect fit for my need. It tracks bike rides with great accuracy. Very easy to use. All the functionality I want with none of the bloat. It focuses on what it wants to do, and it does it very well. Allows for tracking over history, exporting tracks in kml format for external viewing, importing tracks, editing. Everything I want at a great price. MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE: The developer! He (yes, just a normal guy) supports his users directly and personally via email. He's extremely responsive and his commitment to customer service is exemplary!!! I had used the app for months but never paid for the no-ad version. After an upgrade, I suddenly could no longer use the app. On a whim, I reached out to Daniel and he immediately started working with me. Two days later, he had issued 2 patches to the app and fixed my problem (and turns out, that of some others as well.) I promptly payed for the app and wrote this review! Great example of what an app should be and what support should look like!
Intrusive video ads, while in tracks, selecting a track shows it on the map, when you back out or press the arrow in the top left corner it stops what you're doing to show a video ad. Also, can't choose individual track without being forced to watch a video, or else the track unchecks itself and won't display on map, this pretty much makes the recording feature useless, poor design. Using Ride Command and Geo Tracker instead. 1 star until fixed.
