I'm enjoying this app. It's a good way to start the day with the verse of the day and in the day with some scripture reading. I like that it monitors my progress, and I can highlight passages. However, I don't like the music with the audio. I wish there was an option for just speech, different narrators. Find the mysic distracting. I like this option in another app, but that app does not monitor progress as well as this one. I'm looking for one that does all.
Love this app! The progress feature is a really powerful way to keep accountability and encourage you to continue reading consistently. Also, this might seem insignificant, but the spacing between the lines and verses is optimal for continuous reading. The is not too much text on the screen at one time but also does not require constant scrolling. If you've tried several times to read your Bible and failed, I recommend this app.
Lots of positives, but the ads take away from the experience. 😣 When I'm doing Bible study, this is super handy, and I love that the app will read it to you (I wish it wouldn't stop after each chapter, though.) I would rather purchase an app than suffer through the ads. I don't always think the choice of ads is appropriate for a Bible app, either.
