I found the "Word-Search" app, and discovered why l could not do the search ! Other sites require the "search" sign to be tapped to do the search. This one seems to delete the search if the sign is tapped ! So, now l am happy ... so far. I will now use this app more frequently than l have been !
Pro: Having verses spaced out on separate lines helps my reading immensely; Nice interface. Con: Although I paid for the app...Sometimes there are typos (which makes me second guess the authenticity of the translation/app sadly); App hasn't opened for the past month (closes automatically as soon as I try to open it); Hard to navigate 'liked' verses as it lists them in chronological order of when they were 'liked', rather than by book; Help contact info is a Gmail account.
