I'm disappointed on how low the volume is for any media that you Bluetooth to your hearing aids. The old app played at a higher volume it seems. This version you have to keep the app open and running all the time in order for the volume controls to be available quickly. The old app I could close the app but yet the volume controls would be on my lock screen. I think I'm going to go back to the old app.
Oticon should have just improved the old app which was working pretty consistently. The UI of the new one is not clean and the app is buggy & disconnects from Bluetooth randomly but doesn't seem to add any new features. I'm sorry to say that the updated version of the app is no better than the previous version. I have loaded 1.3.0 and it is still not consistently connecting to Bluetooth and staying connected. During phone calls, one ear or both will disconnect and not be able to reconnect.
When the app works is very nice. The other 90% of the time: it switches from right ear to left and finally both and then starts cycling again. The volume in hearing aids on a phone call varies from whisper to shout and back. Surely you folks can fix this for the money we paid? Update on April 2: the newer version 1.3 doesn't drop the Bluetooth as often but trying to use the phone connection is still miserable 😣. Two more letters to support and finally form reply and no phone number for help.
