I took a picture of some black agate I bought to test to see if the app correctly identified it, but black shadow was nowhere in any of the suggestions. I also decided to scan an unidentified purple mineral I bought with it and none of the descriptions quite fit. Of course, I'm not an expert on minerals so I'll update my review again after I identify the purple rock. This app might have gotten three stars despite this, but whenever you take a picture you have to exit and renter the menu
Six pictures of six different basic stones and it was never correct. Uninstalled less than ten minutes after download. Unfortunately that has been my experience with all the apps of this type. Definitely do not recommend any of these " identifier" apps.
Frustrating and uninstalled. When you select "gallery" to access a photo and it takes you to your camera with no other option... nope. This is supposed to be relaxing and fun.
