Picture this, you're on time to you bus on a cold rainy day. You get there only to find the tiger is delayed by an hour and half. Vague communication from customer service that basically says "if you don't like it, cancel" but never seem to be willing to give any sort of compensation. Absolutely horrifying experience. Consistently cancel and delay rides last minute. Overbook rides. Very inconsiderate of people time and money, not to mention the subpart customer service.
It was my first time using Swvl, but actually, it was a very bad experience as we arrived 30 minutes late which caused a very bad impact on me as I was going to have an interview. the second point, that the driver didn't return the change and told me that he deposited it to a credit account to be used without asking me or taking my permission so it's my worst transportation experience I have ever had.
[EDIT]: There was this one ride which was marked as available for 11 pm. I booked, and reached the pick-up location 15 minutes early but, upon checking, I found out that the ride never moved from it's location. I waited 25 minutes past the pick-up time, hoping this to be an application error but the captain never actually came. I also tried contacting him but his phone was off. SWVL should better do something about this. It sure doesn't seem like a good idea, walking on the sidewalks at night.
