It more difficult to maneuver within and find desired content than using links in a well setup morning or evening email digest. Example: In mu digest there is a link to a story. Click it and it brings up the story on the website. I can not find or read that story in the app. Which is a bummer because I am setup to receive what I want to read/understand. makes the app partially useless. Good for browsing content.
I have had the app subscription for almost a year and have loved it. But recently any time I click a notification I get a message saying, "You're offline, try again." And I can't move forward. I can't view any content. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, i've tried disabling my VPN (you guys better NEVER bow to that Baal, of being incompatible with those of us who value freedom from surveillance!), and I cannot get to content. So i'm canceling my subscription. Massive disappointment.
Sadly, I updated to the newest version. Previously, I could click on the notification, hit the login button, and view the article. No longer, although I am paying for the subscription. Selected "bug report" in the menu, copied the log, and takes me to my contacts to send it to instead of Epoch Times address. I should have not updated.
