I was starting to think I had finally found a good alternative to Waze, but now it doesn't work at all. I open the app, see my location on the map, type in an address, see my destination on the map, hit "build route", and get the message "Sorry, route not available." I've restarted, cleared cache, reinstalled. No dice. I hope it gets fixed because it worked really well for a few weeks.
Maps are way out of date. My development has been here 6 years and my street 5 years. It is still not in TomTom. I have this built-in as my car map system, but it's useless as I can't even add my home address, so I can't plot a route home. Map is latest version. I have to override the tomtom maps with my Google maps on auto Android or the iPhone app to get car maps that work. Time for TomTom to retire the car mapping service, and the mobile app, especially considering it is a paid service.
Updated 11/23 - every update keeps making this app better (thank you for showing street names at hwy exits) but one bug has made this almost unusable. When the app starts, the app will move my position on the map everywhere but the road I'm on. It will eventually restore but the why it seems to "lose me" does not boad well for a GPS app. And it does not get fixed with clearing cache.
