The idea is wonderful especially using real media as examples but the paywall is ridiculous. I thought the app was a good idea so I went to see how I could remove ads and they encourage a subscription (of course they do) and I was looking for a one time payment and it was $149.99. That's robbery. I'm not expecting to just waltz through for free when apps like these cost money to keep up but the greed is insane. Paying forever is not cheaper than paying once..
It was a great app until I got to lesson 8 in Beginner 1.. didn't mind waiting for the free lessons but toward the end of lesson 7 the audio that pronounced the characters stopped working. It wasn't the first time but usually closing the app and reopening it would fix it but this time it doesn't. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I still can't hear how the characters I'm being taught sound. Hopefully they can fix this issue which is the only thing hindering it from 5 stars.
I like the concept of the app. Learning words in action has always been a favored approach of mine. The problem is, however, that half the time neither the sound nor video clips load properly. I hope this will be improved in future releases.
