USA TODAY has been an exceptional resource for up to date news and a variety of opinions on all manner of happenings for me for several years. It is very easy to navigate. It has something for everyone and wonderful special articles and investigations for subscribers. I have been able to read everything from local to international stories. If you want a news provider that does not talk down or give you only one side then you cannot go wrong with USA TODAY as your go to news resource.
Feb 11, 2024 0 stars. Crashes constantly. They suckered me into a years subscription for $1 a few weeks ago and that is a rip off. Not even worth a dollar. Now I've got to spend time cancelling that subscription so that it doesn't auto renew for full price in about a years time. I stopped reading USA Today years ago because of their pay walls, it was a mistake giving it another try.
I used to work on this app, and I'm a little disappointed to see that not much has changed since I left. The design for the front page is jarring and visually overwhelming. This is both from a developer and user stand point. The code that puts together the list of content, ads, and web view based "dynamic" content is a real piece of work. The "Fronts" client need to be rethought out and improved drastically to overcome some of the issues in this app.
