The app itself works fine. Installed, verified account, uploaded all necessary document, app shows verified, fit to travel. All good so far. I travelled from Berlin to Heathrow via BA, looking for the dedicated Verifly channel as advertised, only to be informed that no such channel exists. Basically, the app does a fine job, but seeing as it is not implemented within Heathrow, and there is no way to actually use it, it is a complete and utter waste of time and effort. Uninstalled.
Once I was able to discern what I needed to do, it was pretty easy. However, the navigation as to what had to be done initially was not intuitive and took two visits to the app to understand what was needed. Also, on the first try, regarding the covid card verification. The pay for quick results was clearly evident, but the go on the regular process was not. For AA to indicate it was a free process and then to see the 'pay here' for the expedited results gave me an 'is this a scam' feeling.
The app stopped before my cruise "pass" was completed even though I finished the steps. I had to completely uninstall the app and reinstall it. Once I did that the account recovery didn't work so I had to make a completely new account and upload my pictures and vaccine cards again. I think this will end up having cost me more time than it was supposed to save me.
