I got two bulbs, had to download the app, the regular WIZ app for me works better than the WIZ V2 app, very confusing for those like me that aren't so savvy, more aggravation, use the WIZ app, also bulbs are slightly different, the colors can be off, have to spend a few minutes to make sure the colors are identical, but overall, they're expensive but great for all the different choices and custom set ups, each room has its own page for quick change, love all the different possibilities...
Compared to Version 1, Version 2 is a buggy mess. The button to turn on the lights is at least 5-10 times smaller in V2 and it's just as annoying as it sounds. The individual bulb icons (same room) are now on different pages. V1 has all lights in the same room on one screen. Much more convenient. The other issue I have with V2 is the terrible lag and a constant "unknown issue occured" the app pretends like it's going to change to the next setting but then it jumps right back to where it was.
This version of the app works great, I won't be going to the new version, I have had these bulbs in my home for the last 2 years without issue. Pros: Turn lights on from anywhere Bulbs aren't hot Bulbs last for years Customization of colors Cons: Good luck not having internet App is a bit slow Wish there was more in stock of custom displays and colors instead of dull (color) overlapping a dimmer (color) Turning the power off screws the connection, have fun reconnecting all lights.
