Up until recently this was a great app but now for the past weeks every time I try and turn my lights on in a room one of them cant connect and won't even turn on. If my partner tries on their phone occasionally it will work but usually says it can't communicate with the device. I've tried deleting and reading the device multiple different it has become an issue to where I ha e to re add it every time I want to use the bulb. Once bulbs burn I don't think I plan to replace them with more from wiz
I love the dynamic options and the ability to highly customize the lighting of an area or room. My only concern is that sometimes, certain ones or all of my wiz lights are "unavailable". One in particular, I named "this b!t?h never works" because I turn it off remotely every night, but almost every morning I have to get up and manually turn it off and on to get it "accessible".
When I try making schedules for the lights, the programmed time drifts. For example, if I set the light to turn on at 0:600, it will turn on about 30 mins too early or too late, if it turns on at all. This system will only work with 2.4ghz wifi, so if you use 5ghz it won't work. Programs often disengage themselves for no reason. Sometimes my lights turn on in the middle of the night by themselves. I'm going to look for another system.
