This app is from my local news station and I really just use it for the hurricane tracking, but it has a whole slew of other useful features. I love that it gives me notifications anytime there's a change. It is also incredibly easy to use and is a lot easier to read and interact with than a lot of other hurricane trackers I have used and I have used a ton! UPDATE: still using it every year!
This is the best app for tracking hurricanes. Gives you the names of storms brewing in the middle of the Atlantic. Gives probability of new storms forming. Gives alerts as storm paths change. Not even NHC or NOAA provides an app like this. I tried many free apps and was disappointed until this one. I haven't seen any annoying ads. This is incredible. Edited just to say, everything I previously wrote is still true. This is STILL the best tropical cyclone app. And it's FREE !
Love the app! News4Jax is my go to for weather and news. Combination of images and text, and that I can READ the info, and don't have to use sound or video to get the info. Just wish there was a quick way to check off notifications without restarting app. It keeps saying i have 20+ unread notifications.
