Good app and Zipcar is a great car-sharing club... very convenient. The Zipcar app is well designed making it easy to search, book and drive available cars and vans. There's only been the odd app service crash happen to me. When this has occurred, Zipcar are usually fast in posting updates, and their customer service team have rectified an issue manually over the phone and provided a refund or driving credit for any inconvenience caused.
Highly recommend you add a button "Send Feedback" to the help section so people don't have to report bugs with a negative review! Here it is: I took 3 photos, but they didn't seem to save and the process felt very glitchy, with long waits and a white screen in between shots, had to press the back button to get back to the app, and that's when I noticed nothing saved. Would be nice to get some cash back if I bring the car back as hour early too. Fortunately, the customer service is really good.
Buggy app that doesn't manage the locks correctly, rental car that was dirty on the outside, absolutely disgusting on the inside, and maintenance issue with the brakes. Add on top of that the application fee, membership fee, and cost of rental, and I have to say this was a truly pathetic experience that scared me straight and I will rent from a reputable company in the future. The "convenience" is far from convenient when you have to engage the app and try numerous times just to open the car.
