Let’s play Arknights on PC and find out together!
With the special story release of Chapter 12 - All Quiet Under The Thunder, players will have the chance to experience the ongoing conflict between the 2 factions of Londinium and Sarkaz with the appearance of many familiar faces of operators you have known and love and the reintroduction of a familiar face - the highly anticipated mercenary Ines.
The main stages of story chapter 12 will consist of 3 different difficulties - story mode, normal mode and challenge mode, each with different rewards for players to clear. For story mode, it is the simplest and easiest mode to clear as they are for the fans who want to enjoy the story of chapter 12 right away without having to think too much about clearing battles. For Normal mode, this mode is the normal nodes with moderate difficulty enemies that players will have to face in order to obtain the real rewards from the stages. If players have cleared normal mode, they will automatically receive the rewards for story mode as well.
Challenge stages are unlocked after players have completed the end of the chapter and will contain various challenging tasks for players to complete while clearing the stage, rewarding them with even more rewards once cleared.
In addition to the stages in story chapter 12, once players have cleared certain stages, they will be greeted with the special scrapbook mechanics which rewards players for reaching certain milestones in the story, containing character upgrading materials, special limited items and the Free 5* Operator - Morgan.
During the celebration campaign periods, every story stage and certain material farming stages will have a chance to drop 2 specially available materials for all players in the form of Small Emergency Sanity Potions and Rhodes Island Supply Chests.
These special event items can be obtained by randomly being dropped after the players have cleared the select stages. The chance for these items to drop increases proportionally to the amount of sanity cost of the chosen farming stage, so the higher the sanity cost, the more likely it is you will get these items.
However, it is recommended that players should farm the 1-6 stages for maximum sanity/drop proficiency as not only does the stage cost less sanity per run to run, it also provides players with one of the most important resources in the game: Originite Rocks, making it highly efficient to run this stage over and over again to get good results.
Small Emergency Sanity Potions will recover the players’ sanity ( or stamina) by 40 for every pot used. This is absolutely essential for all players to stock up on as the upcoming 3.5 anniversary event will require a lot of sanity to go through in order to obtain the most amount of rewards. So players should take absolute advantage of this opportunity to stock up on these potions.
Rhodes Island Supply Boxes, once used, will supply players with a random material, which all can be used to upgrade operators and strengthen your squad for both chapter 12 and the upcoming 3.5 anniversary event. The more boxes you farm, the less time you will need to spend on farming for those materials afterward, so players should absolutely stock up on these boxes.
Morgan is a 5* Dreadnought Guard That specializes in dealing damage to enemies with her damage output being increased proportional to the amount of health she has left. The lower Morgan’s HP is, the higher her attack stat will be and the more powerful she will become when facing enemies.
Morgan’s skill revolves around her ability to lose HP in exchange for entering the Berserk state, increasing her own attack stat and damage output proportional to the HP amount she has left. Her most powerful skill is her 2nd skill which reduces her HP to 30% of her Max HP and grants her a large barrier equal to 70% of her max HP. This makes it so that she will immediately gain a massive amount of attack boost and still be able to sustain herself on the battlefield thanks to the barrier. Also, while this skill is active, all of her physical damage will have their damage doubled, making it a very powerful skill to have.
In addition, within chapter 12 specifically, Morgan will have a special 2nd talent that will grant her extra HP and Attack within chapter 12 stages, allowing her to be a good operator to be used to farm materials contained within chapter 12 of the main story.
With the release of chapter 12 of the main story, the release of a special operator to go with the story and their rate up banner have also been introduced for players to have a chance to obtain the operator. This time, the operator being introduced and rated up is the 6* Agent Vanguard - Ines
Ines is a 6* Agent Vanguard that specializes in constantly being deployed, retreating and redeployed to different titles on the stage in order to deal with problematic enemies that are fragile and easy to be dealt with. Her talent massively reduces the time it takes her to be redeployed and her ability makes it so that all enemies within her field of vision will have their invisibility removed and their stats stolen by her.
Ines’ most interesting skill lies in her 3rd skill which grants her a special blade when she is first deployed on the field. The blade will remain on the title when Ines was first deployed and when Ines is redeployed onto the field, the blade will immediately move towards Ines’ location, dealing massive amounts of damage to all enemies between it and Ines. For every enemy the blade and Ines hits, she will recover 1 DP points for the team, allowing players to deploy other operators.
Ines is a very versatile operator with her ability to move around the map and deal with problematic enemies by stealing their stats or by completely destroying them by herself, fitting for a mercenary such as herself.
It depends. Ines is a very powerful operator to have in your team for both beginners and veteran players. However, the upcoming 3.5 anniversary celebration is quickly approaching and players should pay attention to the limited operators that will be available with its release. Therefore, players should seriously consider before spending their resources on Ines.
