Let’s play Arknights on PC and find out together!
The Luo Xiaohei Collaboration event is divided into 3 different types of stages, one of which is the main event story stages. These stages will serve as players’ primary source of farming and event currencies.
There’s a total of 8 stages in the main story stages section and clearing them will reward players with 8 Originites in total when players first clear stages.
In addition, farming these stages will grant players event currencies needed to be used to exchange for event exclusive materials in the shop. The amount of currencies obtainable is proportional to the amount of sanity spent for each stage and every stage will have a special material that might be dropped once clear, therefore players should pick a stage that has the materials you need and farm that stage throughout the event for maximum efficiency.
In addition to the main story stages, a total of 8 EX Challenge stages, offering challenging stages that players only need to clear once to claim their full rewards.
When first clearing the EX challenge stages, players will be able to activate the Challenge Mode, enhancing the difficulty of the stages and reward players with an additional Originites for each clear for a total of 8 extra Originites.
These stages are extremely dangerous and difficult to clear, therefore players should pay attention and strengthen their squad before attempting to clear these stages.
During the Event Period, unlike other events, the special event currencies from the Luo Xiaohei Collaboration Event can be dropped not only from main event story stages but also from special specific normal battle stages like resource stages and Main Story Stages from Chapter 0 to Chapter 10 of the Arknights Main Story.
During this period, when farming materials from these kinds of stages outside of the event, players will be able to obtain the special event currencies even if they are not farming the Event stages. Each stage will reward players with event currencies proportional to the amount of Sanity (or Stamina) they spend on the stage to clear them and they are counted as extra drops, not interfering with the normal drop rates of stages.
It is important to note that certain stages aren’t affected by this change like Contingency Contracts Test Stages, Annihilation stages and other event recollections stages.
The event shop is also available for all players during the event’s duration for players to exchange for special event exclusive items and character upgrading materials.
The main important thing players should focus on getting in the event is the brand new event limited skin available for exchange for the Collaboration Limited 4* Guard Operator Luo Xiaohei.
In addition, other important items to exchange include Information Fragments, Module Upgrade materials and character upgrading materials available from the shop. The priority should go from Module upgrading materials > Information Fragments > Character EXPs > Skill Books > Other materials.
Extra stories is a special feature available for the Luo Xiaohei Collaboration event where players can spend special Information Fragments in order to unlock 6 different special side stories related to the stories of previous events. After unlocking these story stages, players will be able to play them and read the stories inside of them whenever they like as long as the event is still in its running period.
Players will need to have completely unlocked and read the 6 stories in order to fully finish the Luo Xiaohei Collaboration event and obtain the special medal associated with the running of the event. The 6 Information Fragments required to unlock these story nodes can easily be exchanged in the Event Shop.
Luo Xiaohei is a 4* Lord Archetype Guard that specializes in inflicting the special Critically Wounded Debuff which allows him to leave the enemies alive and let other allies defeat the enemies in order to obtain SP instead. His low cost and powerful debuffing abilities makes him one of the more desirable operators to build up as a budget option in Integrated Strategies and other gamemodes.
Luo Xiaohei’s first skill transforms him into a cute black cat that focuses on dealing damage to enemies within the 4 titles around him, dealing damage to all of those enemies at the same time and inflicting the Critically wounded debuffs on them when he defeats them. When this skill is active, he will only focus on dealing physical melee damage and ignores airborne enemies.
Luo Xiaohei’s 2nd skill is an enhancement of his normal attacks and talents which allows him to deal extra damage to enemies in front of him, dealing physical damage to up to 2 enemies at the same time and deal more damage to enemies below 50% HP, ensuring that he will be able to inflict the debuff once he defeats the enemies.
Together with the collaboration limited time event, a brand new standard headhunting banner featuring 2 6* operators - the 6* Medic Shining and the 6* Guard Pallas.
Shining is a 6* Medic Operator that specializes in healing and buffing the team with defensive oriented buffs that allows the allies to live longer against enemies that deal physical damage.
Shining’s main power lies in her ability to grant allies within her range extra defense simply by existing in addition to granting allies surrounding her with a defense up shield whenever she heals them with her 2nd skill, making them tankier all the while recovering their HP.
Pallas is a 6* Guard Operator that specializes in dealing damage to enemies from afar with her whip all the while buffing the ally standing in front of her, granting them special buffs that help with their defensive and offensive abilities.
Pallas’ main power lies in her 2nd skill which allows her to grant the ally in front of her a special buff that improves the ally’s offensive abilities proportional to their current HP, helping to make them deal extra damage and become even more powerful.
As for Pallas herself, her 3rd skill grants her the ability to deal damage to enemies from afar and deal moderate amounts of damage, allowing her to be a decent damage dealer as long as there is an ally operator standing in front of her to absorb the damage from enemies.
No, You Should Not. The 2 rate up 6* Operators are extremely niche in terms of viability and availability, meaning they won’t be able to be used in many stages and have minimal affect overall in the game’s meta, making them undesirable to roll for in terms of utility and meta.
Recently introduced, LDPlayer 9.0 not only allows players to easily download and play Arknights on PC, it is also designed and specialized so that players can have the best experience playing Arknights on the highest FPS and highest graphics.
Furthermore, with LDPlayer’s keyboard-mapping function, players can clear Arknights stages more effectively using only keyboard buttons, allowing players to be able to do the most famous Arknights trick - the Pause deployment trick, making the stages faster and easier to play and clear than when playing on mobile.
