TAT Rumble doesn't come with a tutorial, making it quite confusing for new players. From this section we want to provide a straightforward guide to get you started. So, although TAT Rumble is a fighting game, you don't engage in direct combat. When you enter a match, you’ll see an image of the fight stage with your team members displayed below it, and beneath them, a slot machine.
The slot machine is the core gameplay mechanic. If you get three identical items in a row, you deal significant damage. Two matching items will deal a small amount of damage, while failing to match any items results in no damage and a big hit instead. If your opponent is stronger, a single failure can lead to a K.O.
At the start of each day, you’re awarded some coins, which are necessary for participating in exhibition matches. It's crucial not to spend these coins in shops early on because once they run out, you have to wait until the next day to get more.
When you enter an exhibition match, you’ll encounter several rank fights from Rank E to Rank S3. The entrance fee for Rank E matches is free, but you need coins for each spin of the slot machine. In a match If you lose your most powerful fighters, it’s best to start over rather than continuing to spend coins on a losing match.
By managing your daily coins wisely and understanding the slot machine mechanics, you can maximize your chances of success in TAT Rumble. Prioritize exhibition matches over shop purchases and restart matches if they aren’t going in your favor to avoid wasting coins.
Winning a match in TAT Rumble comes with exciting rewards such as coins, summoning cards, free spin tickets, and more. During gameplay, if you match three banners or crystals, you'll receive these items as rewards, which can be used to summon new fighters. Summoning more powerful heroes allows you to stay in battles longer, exchanging blows until your luck improves.
The game operates in two distinct phases: a losing phase where you might not earn much, and a winning phase where you can accumulate rewards. Once the winning phase ends, you have the option to end the game and start over.
While this means you won't receive the final rewards given for winning a match, it helps conserve your resources for future attempts. Losing a match results in no rewards, so strategically choosing to quit can be beneficial. Additionally, fighters you win don’t automatically add to your roster. To collect your rewards, go to the lobby and click on the gift icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
When you’ve collected enough resources to participate in higher rank matches, you might wonder if it's worth the risk. The short answer is usually no, especially if you're not well-prepared. Higher rank matches come with a steep entrance fee, and losing one means you're done for the day, left counting the minutes until the next reset.
These matches offer more powerful fighters and higher gold rewards for each win, making them tempting. However, before you attempt a Rank D match, ensure you have at least 50K gold on hand. This is crucial because the entrance fee is high, and the slot machine costs more to use in these matches. Having a substantial amount of gold will allow you to keep playing until all your fighters are defeated, increasing your chances of winning.
At the start of TAT Rumble, you will be fighting with low-level fighters. These fighters have low HP, and one failed roll can end the round. Understanding the importance of choosing the best fighters is crucial to winning. Each fighter counts as a round, and when a fighter dies, the first round ends. If you lose three fighters, the match is over. Therefore, when creating your formation, you need to place the most powerful fighters in your first three slots.
In addition to spinning at the start, you will also get a chance to select a skill. The last two characters in your formation are the skills; select them at the start, and they will deal damage to the first fighter of the opposing team.
To edit your formation, go to the collection section and choose your team. Click on the fighter you want to replace, then click the remove button followed by confirm. Next, click the empty slot and select the hero you want to place in that spot from your list of fighters.
When creating teams in TAT Rumble, first, you should pick a leader. The leader provides an elemental buff to your team based on their element. There are five elements in the game: fire, water, nature, dark, and light. Understanding the elemental strengths and weaknesses is key:
Nature element fighters are weak against water element fighters, dealing only 0.7x damage to them.
Water is weak against fire element fighters, dealing only 0.7x damage to them.
Fire element fighters are weak against nature, dealing only 0.7x damage to them.
Strong element fighters will deal 1.5x damage to weaker element fighters. Since each stage is dedicated to one element, make sure to change your team leader and members accordingly to maximize your advantage.
After forming your team, the next crucial step is to level up your fighters. This can be done in the training section of the game. Here’s how to do it:
Select Your Fighter: Go to the training section and choose the hero you want to level up. This will take you to a new window.
Choose Lower-Grade Fighters: At the bottom of this window, you’ll see boxes similar to the ones in the team creation window. Click on a box, select some low-level heroes, and hit confirm. Make sure to only select lower-grade fighters, identifiable by the word "common" on their portrait.
Spend Gold to Level Up: Spend the required amount of gold to complete the leveling up process. The selected fighters will be removed from your list, and their experience will be allocated to the fighter you are leveling up.
In some situations, you might need quick money. You can use the sell section of the gallery to sell your fighters or duplicates. However, this is not recommended since earning fighters requires you to win matches, and winning often depends on luck. Selling fighters can deplete your team strength, making it harder to succeed in future matches.
Also, when leveling up your fighters be careful to only select fighters of a lower grade to avoid losing valuable team members. Carefully training your fighters will significantly improve their performance in battles, increasing your chances of winning.
There are several ways to acquire more fighters in TAT Rumble. The primary method to get new fighters is through the summoning section. On your first day, there’s a free summon, so be sure to collect it. After that, you’ll need summoning tickets, gold, or gems to use the other summoning options.
In the early stages, earning gold is harder than earning gems. Therefore, it’s advisable to avoid using the gold summon and focus on earning gems and tickets by playing rank matches. These resources will help you summon more powerful fighters.
Another way to get fighters is by participating in rank matches. Each time you win a match, you’ll receive a fighter as a reward. These fighters are usually of low grade but can be used to level up your more powerful fighters, enhancing your overall team strength.
By effectively utilizing the summoning section and consistently playing rank matches, you can steadily build a stronger team of fighters.
As you start your adventure in TAT Rumble, remember that success lies in strategic planning, effective resource management, and a bit of luck. By following this guide, you'll gain a solid understanding of the game's mechanics, helping you to build a powerful team and rise through the ranks of the "TWELVE ANONYMOUS TOURNAMENT." Stay persistent, experiment with different strategies, and most importantly, have fun as you fight your way to the top of TAT Rumble.
