Apart from the primary role, all the characters in the game have one of the following three specialties. The specialty and the role of the character will not be the same in some instances. They are,

• If you see a sword on red color background, the character belongs to the attack specialty.

Generally, the characters possess a specialty according to their role. It means an attacker will belong to the specialties of attack, tanks defense, and supports skill. This will not apply to some characters. The character of Matsumoto is from the tank with the skill specialty. The character of Komamura is an attacker with a defense specialty, and Yamamoto is an attacker with a skill specialty. 

 

You have to earn a better knowledge on specialty of the characters because it can get an advantages system. You can get significant benefits by boosting of specialties. But it's appropriate not to get many exclusive specialties from one type. If you do so, your team will face disadvantages with the counter of specialties. Every specialty counters one specialty, and it will have countered by another. The rundown of specialty will move with others as follows,

 

• The attack can cause additional damage to skill. But, it needs additional damage from the defense.

 

• Skill can cause additional damage to defense. But, it requires further damage from the attack.

 

• Defense can cause further attack damage. But, it requires further damage from skill.

 

War soul buffs 

 

 

You have to focus on this factor while creating your teams. It can boost the stats of all the characters in your team during the battle. You can get War soul buffs according to the Formation of the characters in your group. For example, if you use White tiger with two other characters as the War soul effect in your team, all the other characters in the team can get White Tiger War soul buff of Level one. It will boost the rate of damage by 3%.

 

There are four main categories of War soul that give buffs. Although all of them are useful, they will activate once they fulfill all the requirements. They are,

 

• Azure Dragon – it can provide Crit with critical damages. Apart from that, it makes rage skill buffs.

 

• White Tiger – it can do damages and attack chances. Apart from that, it makes buffs of damage reduction.

 

• Vermillion Bird – it has more rate of accuracy and damage. Apart from that, it makes buffs of rage regeneration.

 

• Black Tortoise – it can reduce the damage and control the block. Apart from that, it makes buffs of rage skills.

 

There will be several levels of buffs with some specific features. They are,

 

• Level one War soul buffs will unlock with a minimum of two characters. They should come from the same war soul in your team.

 

• Level two War soul buffs will unlock with a minimum of four characters. They should come from the same war soul.

 

• Level three War soul buffs will unlock with a minimum of six characters. They should come from the same war soul.

 

In this case, your team can get several War soul buffs at the same time. For example, if you have the War souls, Azure Dragon with two other characters, White Tiger with two different characters, and Vermillion Bird with two other characters. Your team can get three war soul buffs. They are level one of Azure Dragon, White Tiger, and Vermillion Bird. 

 

If you get any chance, you have to optimize the war souls of your team. This is to get exactly two or four characters out of the provided War souls. It would be impractical to have an accurate number of War souls. So, do not change the whole team for that. If you are looking for a solid attacker, Zangetsu, Byakuya, Kenpachi, Aizen, and Yamamoto are the best characters. You can use Tessai as the best choice for a tank and Unohana as support.

• Control will help you to protect the well-functioning of the team during a battle. It includes all the forms of buffs that protect enemies from creating damages in ways like stuns and silence. Suppose you get someone with good silence, the whole enemy team, or a stun a part of them. Matsumoto is such a character; there will be a total turn in the battle if you control off on time.
