Multiplayer:

The ICR-1 belongs to the class of assault rifles with a low damage-per-bullet rating. The ICR-1 will take four to five shots to kill at most ranges. This is very low for the assault rifle class, and it is tied for the lowest damage per shot in its class with the HVK-30 and M8A7. The ICR-1, like the HVK-30, has an average fire rate, which makes the ICR-1's time to kill ratio quite slow. The ICR-1 has medium penetration and is often hit or miss in terms of one-shot kills in Hardcore game types. Its one-shot kill range is adequate at most, and it cannot compete in terms of lethality with weapons like the XR-2, Man-O-War, or M8A7.

As previously indicated, the ICR-1's fire rate is average for its class. The ICR-1 will fire at a rate of 600 RPM. Overall, the rate of fire is slow, but for the assault rifle class, it is pretty decent, only being outpaced by the HVK-30 and just slightly by the KN-44. Because of its low rate of fire, the ICR-1 has a long time-to-kill ratio compared to other assault rifles.

The ICR-1's main selling feature is its pinpoint precision. The ICR-1 features good iron sights and a very low recoil per shot since the weapon kicks both minimally and reliably and because the average rate of fire allows the center speed to counteract a lot of the recoil.

The ICR-1 has a conventional 30-round magazine capacity for an assault rifle. Because of the ICR-1's poor damage, reloads may be necessary more frequently. However, the slower fire rate may help to ease some of this.

The ICR-1 is equipped with the typical set of attachments seen in its class. Because of the rather big rear sight, some players may prefer the optical attachments over the iron sights. Optics can improve target clarity, making target acquisition and focussing easier.

The altering magazine accessories, Extended Mag and Fast Mag are both highly recommended. Because of its lesser damage per shot, the ICR-1 requires a lot of ammunition. The default reload time is already pretty quick, at little more than two seconds, making Extended Mag a far more valuable option.

The ICR-1, best suited as a medium-range assault rifle, benefits from the Adjustable Stock and Quickdraw Handle. Its performance improves with these two attachments, helping the user to aim rapidly and escape incoming fire more easily.

Because of its low damage per bullet, FMJ isn't the greatest attachment to consider for the ICR-1 because it discourages players from shooting through walls. On the other hand, High Caliber is an excellent attachment to utilize on the ICR-1 due to the improved headshot multiplier, which allows players to possibly net three-hit kills with a headshot, significantly increasing the ICR-1's time-to-kill profile.

CODM-ICR-1 OVERVIEW

The Laser Sight is a useful addition to consider because it improves the accuracy of the ICR-1 while firing from the hip. Because it rates fire, the ICR-1 is one of the more forgiving assault rifles to shoot from the hip, making it quite usable in close quarters. The suppressorSuppressor significantly reduces the ICR-1's four-shot kill range; yet, due to the ICR-1's rate of fire, lower damage per bullet, and low damage differential, the ICR-1 is one of the best Assault Rifles to employ with a Suppressor. Due to the ICR-1's limited damage per shot, the user is always at risk of losing a direct gunfight by a single bullet.

If the player uses the suppressorSuppressor correctly, they will quickly catch adversaries off guard while not surrendering too much strength.

The long barrel is a useful accessory for the ICR-1 since it extends the ICR-1's four-shot kill range, making it more powerful. This attachment is particularly potent in Hardcore game modes, as Long Barrel increases the ICR-1's one-shot kill range, making Long Barrel an excellent choice for Hardcore game modes. Outside of Hardcore game types, the Long Barrel is a great option, as the player will usually benefit from the long barrel in medium-range combat.

Zombie:

The ICR-1 first debuts in Zombies may be gained via the Mystery Box and a 1500-point wall buy-in Verrückt, Zetsubou No Shima, Kino Der Toten, Origins, and GorodKrovi. It is an above-average wall weapon with a consistent fire rate, consistent damage, and consistent accuracy.
