Call of Duty Mobile Latest Weapon Guide for Machete in Season 6

With the recent launch of Season 6 in COD: Mobile, Activision has introduced new weapons and maps with a brand-new Melee weapon called Machete. Activision has always maintained constant upgrades into their mobile game with new additions every season, and this season is no different.

 

 

Previously we talked about the new Shotgun: Shorty in our Shorty Guide as it had a unique event to unlock the gun. The same is the case with Machete; it gets its event to unlock it known as "Machete Just Leaving," where you need to complete 7 missions to get rewarded this Solid Knife.

 

Before continuing with this guide, we would like you to know that COD Mobile is best played on PC as you can fine-tune its setting for best graphics and performance while efficiently mapping the keyboard to play the game with keyboard and mouse.

 

How to Get Machete for Free in Season 6:

 

In this season, you can unlock three weapons: Machete, Katana, and Wrench. Today we will talk about unlocking Machete. You can get this weapon via a few grindable missions and also get a new blueprint named Machete – Dog Tooth. You can unlock this weapon from the challenge aptly named "Machete Just Leaving," so this guide is about how to unlock this melee weapon and what tasks and missions to complete in COD mobile.  This new melee is named after a real knife with a broad blade. However, players will see a modified version with a different design to its blade in the game. Players can unlock and equip Machete in COD Mobile, which, as we said, is now available as part of the Machete Madness Seasonal challenge for free.

 

"Machete Just Leaving":

 

Challenges, Machete Madness, hack your way through your enemies with ease! Earn the new secondary weapon, Machete. Machete Just Leaving is the seasonal challenge in Season 6 for Call of Duty Mobile, through which you can unlock this excellent sharp melee weapon. Machete is already available in other game titles of Call of Duty Franchise, and this is the first time it is being introduced in COD Mobile. Just like every other seasonal challenge, players can earn a bunch of other rewards as well. This seasonal challenge comprises multiple steps needed to be completed to grind and unlock the Machete weapon for your loadout.

 

 

To get your hands on this Machete, you need to complete seven missions. You need to finish the first mission to unlock the next one and so on, so keep that in mind when targeting objectives. This weapon is free for everyone who completes the in-game challenge; the Machete is a broad foot-long blade tempered for maximum toughness and ideal for fighting in close-quarters engagements. Following are these entitled seven missions:

 

Mission	Objective
Mission 1	Play 5 MP matches.
	Rewards: 200 credits and 1,000 Battle Pass XP.
Mission 2	Achieve 15 Bloodthirsty Medals in MP matches.
	Rewards: 15 weapon XP cards (500 points) and 1,000 Battle Pass XP.
Mission 3	Kill 20 enemies with an SMG having five attachments.
	Rewards: the blueprint of Striker - Mako and 2,000 Battle Pass XP.
Mission 4	Kill 5 enemies while equipped with a melee weapon.
	Rewards: 400 credits and 3,000 Battle Pass XP.
Mission 5	Kill 8 enemies by headshots in any mode in the game.
	Rewards: Spray Slashing Sword / 3,000 Battle Pass XP.
Mission 6	Kill eight (8) enemies with an ax.
	Rewards: Rewards: 20 weapon XP cards (500 points) / 4,000 Battle Pass XP.
Mission 7	Win 3 matches with an ax equipped.
	Rewards: Base Machete melee weapon / 5,000 Battle Pass XP.

 

Objectives and how to achieve them:

 

1^st mission is to play five multiplayer matches, which can be any MP mode. Free for all can be the fastest to finish this task among all the MP modes.

 

 

2^nd mission is to earn 15 Bloodthirsty Medals also in the multiplayer matches. Since it falls under the multiplayer section, players can get it by completing this objective in multiplayer mode only. However, earning the Bloodthirsty medal 15 times is quite a lengthy process and may prove hard for many players, especially newcomers. Hence here are some tips and tricks that players can use to complete the task in a short space of time:

 

• Choose your weapons wisely.
• Use the drones available in Multiplayer mode to scout nearby enemies
• Use scorestreaks to have an upper hand
• Crouch and slide to your advantage
• Keep moving around and reposition yourself whenever possible.

 

You can best finish this task in the Hardpoint mode; as an alternative, you can get more Bots, so you have a choice to select any map. For this task, you need to kill five enemies without getting killed; in other words, get at least a streak of 5 before getting killed. After getting a streak, you will get the one required Blood Thirsty medal. To get another medal, you need to get killed. After you respawn, repeat the above process to get more medals.

 

3^rd mission is relatively easy as you need 20 enemy Kills with an SMG after equipping five attachments. You can go to loadout, then to Gunsmith, and equip the attachments as per your liking. Next, you can play any mode to get those 20 kills. For this mission, Free for All is an excellent mode to save time.

 

4^th mission, kill five (5) enemies with melee weapons, is also an easier task. You can equip any melee from loadout if you have any. Again, play Free For All mode to finish this task and get your five kills quickly. Keep in mind, you can make it faster by using your melee only, or if you're having trouble, you can fire some shots and then switch to melee to finish off the enemies.

 

5^th mission may be tricky as you need to Kill eight (8) enemies in this task with headshots only while playing in any mode. To ease this task, play with any gun that you're sure has good aim, and you are familiar with that gun. Snipers are the best options for this task, but you need to settle in a good Vantage point to get a few Headshots steadily. You can choose to play in Hardpoint to have more chances to achieve this target. Now kill eight enemies with Headshots only to complete this task.

 

The 6^th mission requires killing eight (8) enemies with an ax or any Wrench. This season, you can earn the latest Wrench weapon by completing Undead Siege mode and receiving the reward from Tier 1 of the Richtofen's Reward. You can play an undead siege mission to get this. After getting the Wrench, if you didn't have it before, the task is very similar to Mission 4, to kill eight enemies with a melee weapon by doing this in any mode.

 

The 7^th mission is to win any 3 matches while equipped with a Wrench but do remember; this task requires you to have the weapon in your hand when the match ends. Try to play any mode you like, for example, Free for All, to win 3 times. Make sure the Wrench is equipped at the end of the match. Even if you've gotten a few kills with any other weapon, keep the Machete in your hand. Also, you need to make sure you are in the top 3 if you're playing Free for All.

 

How to equip Machete in your loadout in COD Mobile?

 

Once the melee weapon has been unlocked, you can now equip this weapon in different modes in the game. Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and the limited-time Zombie mode loadouts all can be done and is at your disposal.  We will start with multiplayer first. To equip this weapon, you need to head over to loadout, the option at the bottom. There you can see your loadout and different options at your disposal. You can select the “Secondary Weapon” in the MP menu to access it. Select melee and search for Machete. Once the challenge is completed and you have Machete, you can then click on Equip to add it in your loadout as your secondary weapon.

 

For the Battle Royale Mode Loadout, choose the melee option that you can find next to the Class selection option. Find the melee weapon and equip Machete if you have already unlocked it.

 

For the Zombies mode loadout, you can find it near the Soldier skins option. Swipe through all the melees, and equip Machete.

The Machete has a damage output of 200, similar to every other melee weapon in the game. The range is that of the base knife category, and it has a fire rate of 7. Machete is a slow weapon, and aiming can be a hassle sometimes

 

Skins and Camo:

 

There are six skins available for this gun which are unlockable after completing some objectives. The skins are as follows:

 

• Sand
• Dragon
• Splinter
• Tiger
• Jungle
• Reptile

 

 

Modes for Machete:

 

Bringing a melee weapon such as the Machete to a zombie fight is if a no-brainer. Pop culture references from time immemorial teach us that this weapon is highly potent against hordes of the walking dead.

 

In early Outbreak games, before you hit the difficulty curve, it's well worth conserving your ammo where possible. Any zombies you tangle with one-on-one at this point can be dispatched with the Machete.

 

Step lightly and move swiftly, and be sure to finish each match to make sure your progress counts toward the challenge. The best way to use this weapon is to camp in shadows or any corner and wait for your prey, as the silent kill won't notify your enemies of your location. Camping can be applied in any mode of the game.

The Large knifer is a solid introduction to the game ins shape of Machete, which, even though slow, can pack a punch to get a kill in one swipe. This weapon is perfect for campers and to play in with during killing Zombies in the Under-siege mode.
