Isekai Demon Waifu Review - A Beautiful Game without a Gacha System

2021-12-29

Isekai Demon Waifu comes as a story-driven game for mobiles, and it has been designed very beautifully by the TAPZEN PTE.LTD. The game has a role for the players to act like a prince.

And there the tasks are delivered to recruit more subordinates as much as you can. All those subordinates are capable of strengthening the powers to be able to defeat enemies to make the city stronger.

We get a lonely and incredibly inept game here to become a demon prince within an alternate world. As the prince, he takes control of his armies and collects the women all along his way.

So this is kind of an interesting plot which I have seen so far. We don't have to do much in the game as our armies do everything for us.

I started to play this game personally because of its amazing graphics and motions, as we could see on its trailer. We have a dating sim here where we were given the chance of dating with so many types of pretty girls.

The game genre goes with the simulations, and initially, this Isekai Demon Waifu was advertised huge on Twitter. So let's review this highly advertised game to see if it is worthy of playing or not.

The Design and the Artwork

Let's first move on to the game's design and its artwork. Based on my opinion, the artwork is really good in this game. It has been beautifully designed, and there is amazing work done for the character design.

There are female characters we see here who have different types, and they all wear some unique costumes which are unique to their styles.

So the characters' involvement with players is kind of fun as they are designed amazingly. But the story doesn't go too far from your expectations as it is simply designed, the story has been written entirely by using English, but you will see character voices in Japanese.

I find it troubling that there are some parts of this game that we can decide to skip. But still, there are some other parts which I couldn't skip. So that is making me wait for more, and it doesn't get much interest from me throughout the game.

Combats and Battles

An automated combat system can be seen on Isekai Demon Waifu. Our characters explore different places through the map in this game, and we have to complete the combats within different chapters and conquer the place. So it is competitive.

Each chapter on the Isekai Demon Waifu is coming with more enemies. So we have to advance our troops as much as we can quickly by clicking the skip button.

Recruiting and Enhancing

There is no gacha system in this Isekai Demon Waifu as it comes as an auto-combat game. But we can recruit our subordinates by levelling up our accounts. Or we can give a try to progress through the game's story, which is what I had done.

Although we can level up by using these two methods, there are some characters which we can only unlock after we become VIP members. So everything comes from a paid system here.

Multiple methods can be seen to enhance the stats of our subordinates in the Isekai Demon Waifu. We have to spend some crystals for upgrading levels or use the potions.

These potions will enhance specific stats like trade, battle, leadership powers and negotiations. And when there are blessings, they will contribute to increasing the attributes of subordinates.

I got these blessing points by having dates with my subordinates. So that is how all the players can earn them once they get married. Every hero will be blessed with a specific subordinate.

We all have to do some outings and meetings with the same characters several times to get married. And dating her will lead to blessing points.

Collecting Resources

We can collect our resources by attending many activities. You will gain resources by joining an auto-combat and developing our subordinates, but at the same time, we can deal with many other activities for resources.

As a player, we can develop our resource areas and trade them all for earning some trade points. And we can learn knowledge from the library by sending our subordinates. I got so many more elements by progressing through the questline of the game.

What I like

The artwork is the most amazing thing that made me excited. The game features dealing with the character design are super amazing and eye-catching, and those are enough to stick with us for the playing.

In addition to that, characters have some types of personalities here, making players care more and investing more for them. As we can dress up our consorts and make them happy, it made the game.

In addition to collecting waifus and battles, Isekai Demon Waifu has more stuff to keep us players busy. That is why I put my time into this for playing, as it deals with more throughout the gameplay. If we can join a guild, it makes things easier, and PVP battles are also another part that made my interest grow.

Our harems can battle into other players' harem, and we can see what waifu will be the best girl. That is interesting. There is a world-building system here to develop the resource areas and trade them.

We can unlock more aspects from these trading principles and resource management as we progress through the gameplay.

Moreover, regular events are the other mesmerizing thing that grows my interest in the game. They also came with a crossover from Isekai anime which I didn't expect, and those are the more amazing features that could lead me to stick with this game.

What I Didn't Like

There is a pay to win system here, which I don't prefer that much. In the beginning, everything seemed fun, but when I got to hit the paywall, my progress started to slow down. Some of the characters are hidden with the paywall, and they are so powerful. So without paying, we cannot get those powerful heroes.

There is idle nature combat with Isekai Demon Waifu, and it doesn't feel much challenging in the game. I just clicked and waited for the combat to be concluded, so there are no challenging phases that you can do on your own.

So the players like me who seek a more challenging nature for a game, Isekai Demon Waifu, is not a good choice. You will only face a slow-paced game if you don't pork with some cash.

There are some technical issues that lead to the game crash several times. And the loading time is too much.

Conclusion

There is no doubt that Isekai Demon Waifu is a beautifully crafted game, and it comes with a lot of features to enjoy by the players. Other than its pay to win strategy, there are still things to be calculated as fun, and their characters are also lovable for sure.

So if you are seeking an auto-combat idle game that doesn't come with a gacha system, this one's for you.
