Epic Seven: April Update - New Events, Bomb Model Kanna, Special Side Story and More!

Epic Seven is about to get its first major content update for the month of April. The new update includes the all-new Kanna Takes Flight Event alongside a Special Story for the hero. Moreover, the game will also feature a completely revamped Guild Wars system alongside many other new features in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about what updates you can expect from Epic Seven in the month of April.

 

 

Kanna Takes Flight – Side Story:

 

 

After Kanna was ordered to track down Chloe; Kanna Laika and Brinus now arrive in Ritania. Kanna now heads to Reingar all by herself claiming she’s going to find Chloe all by herself. The event itself will be starting from the 8^th of April and will last till the 22^nd.

 

The featured hero for this game mode is Bomb Model Kanna. She gets Increased Attack, Health and Defense by a whopping 50% for the entire duration of the event.

 

Exchange Rewards:

 

The currency for the event is the Politian Nuts and Bots, you can obtain them by clearing stages of the Side Story. This particular currency can be used to buy rewards from the exclusive event shop. Here are the rewards you can purchase:

How to Clear the Stage Quicker:

 

Just like any other event in Epic Seven, the entire Side Story will follow the same format as Adventure Mode. You will have to finish a particular stage before moving onto the next. We recommend getting Kanna from connections or also have a Fire Range Hero in your team that can help you get stars for the Region Reward.

 

When it comes to currency farming, there’s a stage that offers five different difficulties to you. We recommend going for the hell difficulty as it provides you with the most currency and experience. For fodder, however, we recommend going for the normal currency as it leads to the least amount of energy spent.

Bomb Model Kanna Overview:

 

 

Bomb Model Kanna is a new 5-star hero who anyone can purchase and get through connections. She is a unit that specializes in outputting tons of AOE damage whilst also improving her allies' attack speed as well.

 

She can deal damage to all enemies around her and also dispel one buff from each of them before increasing her own attack power and her allies' attack span. With short cooldowns and an extremely strong passive that lets her shift stances, she’s a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

 

Here’s a quick overview of all of her skill:

• Quick Fire: Start rapidly attacking two enemies. Your damage dealt will increase in proportion to your cast speed.

 

• Stance Fire: If your full fire is available at the start of the turn, you take a Shelling Stance. Or else, you take a Striking Stance. You can only have one stance at a time. Your shelling stance increases your effectiveness by 40% while your Striking Stance increases your speed and dual attack chance by 5%.

 

• Full Fire: Boosts your firepower to attack all enemies with an extremely high chance of dispelling one buff from the enemy. You also increase the speed of all your allies for 2 turns and your own power for 2 turns as well. The ability has a cooldown of 4 turns.

 

Super Maid Queen’s Super Event:

 

 

Chloe has shown up out of nowhere in Artena’s Steel Workshop. The event itself will be available till the 29^th of April whereas you can craft equipment till the 6^th of May. You can earn points for the veent by consuming energy and then using them to craft Lvl 85 Epic Equipment with whatever stats you please.

 

The event mark will appear in the Steel Workshop and can be accessible in the Sanctuary -> Steel Workshop.

New Guild War Skyward Season:

 

The new Guild War Skyward Season is about to begin. Here are all the dates you should know about:

 

Arena Pre Season End:

• Global Server 4/3 (Sat) 09:59 UTC
• Europe Server 4/3 (Sat) 02:59 UTC

 

Arena Skyward Season Starting Date:

• Korea/Asia Server: 4/2 (Fri) 18:00 UTC ~
• Global Server 4/3 (Sat) 10:00 UTC ~
• Europe Server 4/3 (Sat) 03:00 UTC ~

 

The award distribution for the event is as follows:

 

 

Do note that the frame will be distributed to guilds and not individual players. Here’s everything new in the Season:

 

• New 5 Star Hero War Horn will be added to the game. He is a common hero and will be available to purchase in the Guild’s Member Shop with a max cap of six per account.
• You can now view your Season log which will contain information like Heroes you have used and their battle results.
• You can now access previous season records by going to the Previous Season tab.

 

Epic Seven x Guilty Gear Collaboration Event:

 

A 7 Day Daily Check-In Event will be beginning from the 31^st of March and will last till the 15^th of April. It includes the following rewards per every consequent check-in:

 

1. 1,000,000 Gold
2. 5 Sol / 5 Junkyard Dog
3. Catalyst Bundle Chest x1
4. Covenant Bookmark x15
5. Silver Transmit Stone x15
6. MolaGora x2
7. 5 Star Hero Summon Ticket x1

 

 

If you log in consecutively for two or more days during the event, you will receive a continuous attendance bonus of 50 Energy.

 

Challenge Side Story, Brawl! Revelator!

 

 

You can now challenge the One-Armed Samurai Baiken and the Bounty Hounter Sol till the 15^th of April in a limited Guilty Gear x Epic Seven Side Story. After completing each challenge, you have the chance to obtain the 4 Star Artifact, Portrait of the Saviors.

 

Expedition Update:

 

Some changes have been made to expeditions in Epic Seven. For example, the energy cost has been changed to 14, 16 and 18 at Level 1, 2 and 3 respectively. Moreover, Expedition Levels 1 and 2 will now reward 60 Expedition Points. Moreover, the points needed for the final reward in the Depot have been reduced to 2000 with the conditions being lowered as well.

 

The current 11 levels that offer rewards now have been extended to 1343 with a modification gem chest as a reward being added.

 

Hero Balance Changes:

 

Epic Seven has also had some time balancing some heroes out due to the new meta. The heroes that currently have been buffed or nerfed are Sol and Elphet. If you want to take a look at all their changes in detail, you can take a look at the patch notes yourself.

 

Purgis Adjustment and Recall:

 

 

Purgis, the 4 Star Hero will be changed and a recall for him will now be available. The description of his abilities is made much more readable but no real changes have been made. Moreover, he is now available for recall and you can do so if you have a Level 50 or above Purgis. If you do end up recalling him, you get Penguins and Gold based on the current level and XP of the hero.

 

Other Improvements and Changes:

 

 

 

• The Equipment Inventory has been expanded to contain 500 slots
• You can expand your inventory using Skystones now
• An issue where some buff / de-buff description for certain Hero skills instead of displayed monster skill descriptions has been fixed. No functional changes have been made.
• Improvements will be made to Battle and some skills that were not described as Single Attack in various game modes have been changed.
• Some artifacts not working to their descriptions have also been fixed.
