MARVEL Strike Force has a lot of characters that you can attain over time. The RPG game, while new, has cemented itself as a must-play game for anyone who is a fan of the RPG genre. Generally, newer players can feel quite perplexed with the amount of variety offered in the game. While most of the better characters require grinding, you will be surprised to know that there are farming strategies you can take advantage of to progress much faster in the game.
With the introduction of multiple seasonal/weekly events, there is always something going on in MARVEL Strike Force that can help increase your XP gain as you get familiar with the game.
Shuri or The Invisible Woman is mighty because you should try and pick it up as soon as you start the game. Try going for the Sinister Six team, as they are great early game characters that deal a lot of DPS. To unlock them, you need to play the Heroes, Cosmic, Villians, and New Cosmic Storylines.
You can also start farming Shocker as soon as you start the game. While Rhino is available in the Blitz Store and is locked behind somewhat of a paywall as you will not attain enough credits in the early game, you can still try and get him from the Blitz Store, but it ends up taking a lot of time. Generally, it makes more sense for you to get some Blitz Orbs, which can nag you the credits you need to get Rhino.
By going to the arena store and getting your daily shards, you should get about 750 arena credits in about a week, letting you unlock the Vulture found in the store. With these characters, you should form a squad or at least a group of characters that can take on early game skirmishes and challenges in an adequate manner. Rhino is an extremely important character for this particular lineup. He tanks up a lot of damage, which is quite essential as almost every other team character is quite frail in things' grander scheme.
To Unlock your next target, Magneto, you will need both the Brotherhood and X-Men Characters to unlock him. Therefore, going for Mystique or Sabertooth before attaining your final goal makes the most sense.
To do so, Mystique, Toad Juggernaut, Blob are going to be of pivotal importance. However, you can just use Mystique and Sabertooth to unlock Magneto. They are quite easy to get as they are available in the Blitz Store and get quite easy to farm after you are done with grinding Rhino.
Juggernaut and Blob are available in the Arena Store and can be farmed quite quickly. After finally getting Magneto, you can use the Brotherhood 2.0 for a long time as they are an exceptional mid-game and mid-tier team that can crush a lot of opponents quite quickly. Moreover, they are an outstanding raid team that has a lot of offensive. If you need a Duelist who can Aim well, you might need the Scientist Supreme as he has the Aim you need to get through the Hela and Villian nodes as you progress further through the game.
In the Chaos Theory event, you will need Black Panther or Psylocke as they both deal consistent DPS, which your current lineup might lack. Magneto is a critical addition for your team, while this squad acts as a natural stepping stone for your next evolution to a late-game team that wreaks havoc in both the Arena and Raids as well.
Black Bolt is perhaps the most powerful character in the game right now. With his high DPS output and generally sustainable fighting mechanics, he is quite integral to a top-tier MARVEL Strike Force, which you should be aiming for after you get all the characters. To get Black Bolt, you should have both Thor and Hela.
You need to unlock Loki and Heimdall, both of which can be unlocked in the Nexus 3-6 Arena. After getting Loki, Thor and Hela, getting Black Bolt are quite as well. Lastly, you should be getting Quake or Thanos as they both are useful in accelerating Black Bolt’s damage and taking him to the absolute next level.
Generally, after getting Black Bolt, you have free reign of thinking about where you wish to go next. Generally saying, you should perhaps go for a more defense-oriented draft as Black Bolt does not deal well against AoE debuffs and DPS.
But, keep in mind that Black Bolt is not just the only character in your lineup who can deal tons of damage. A good Hela can be quite beneficial due to the amount of summons she has, which can cripple particularly pesky squads. Moreover, you can always mix things up by having Symbiotes on your team. Symbiotes are a potent squad, especially with the new buffs given to them and can sometimes beat your current Asgardian squad. So, having a hybrid mix of both with the addition of Black Bolt can prove to be quite beneficial, especially as you move towards the bigger leagues once you level up.
MARVEL Strike Force has traded off traditional Gacha gameplay mechanics for a more skill-based, mechanically intensive start. Therefore, many players consider this a welcome age as more players can get to the top without spending money. While some characters are locked behind a soft-wall, they are still attainable through sheer determination and grind.
Ensure that you always stay on the lookout for new events and character releases as they usually lead to less grinding as they always come with heavily discounted prices.
