Marvel Strike Force is an action-packed RPG game based in the extremely popular and wildly acclaimed Marvel Cinematic and Comic Universe. The game itself is developed by Scopely and features iconic characters from the Marvelverse like Spider-Man, Iron Man, and The Incredible Hulk, who must band together to combat a new enemy threat. By forming up a squad of MARVEL heroes and villains, each with their unique synergies and pre-requisites, you can either complete the campaign or engage in PvP battles with other drafts to find out if you have what it takes.
Generally, while the game does rely on skill, having a good set or squad of character does make ad difference. With ever-changing meta and balance changes, here are some characters we recommend you should have on your squad.
An iconic super-villain or anti-hero in some cases, Thanos is a compelling character to have in your roster. With his high defense abilities and power, he can decimate opponents, especially if he has someone to feed off. He provides amazing utility to his team by providing his teammates with ability age.
If you couple Thanos with other characters like Ebony Maw, Hela, and Black Bolt, they can pop off rather quickly with the added amount of energy they get. Even as a solo character, he deals a considerable amount of damage, but it makes more sense for you to play Thanos as a character who severely relies on his team.
Moreover, he can be a good addition to a Dark Dimension Squad as he can feed energy. Empowering Thanos is the smartest decision you can do as that is where he truly excels. He can deal with vulnerable, flying bleeds and drop huge cluster bombs on characters which take his power to the next level. You should consider Thanos on your squad if you lack AoE DPS or have energy-hungry characters.
For Dark Dimensions, having a Symbiote lineup makes the most sense. As soon as the Symbiote version of Spider-Man was released, he instantly made the entire lineup viable. He has two turn defensive abilities alongside the ability to increase the duration of debuffs.
Moreover, just like normal Spidey, he can dodge attacks (15% to be precise.) He can dodge in both Raid and Dark Dimensions. Moreover, as negative debuffs are applied on an enemy, he can leach of them and heal Symbiotes for 3% of their maximum health, which adds up to quite a lot of heals and the match progresses.
Generally, Raids and Dark Dimensions are where you should use this Symbiote the most. However, you can use him in other offensive-minded teams as well due to his skill set. With the recent buffs given to the hero, it only makes sense for you to give him a try considering the number of professional players who now prefer Symbiote lineups over anything else.
An insanely powerful DPS damage dealer considered the Arena king, Black Bolt is an absolute menace if played in the right squad. While Ultron enjoyed his reign as an immensely powerful DPS dealer, Black Bolt made short work of him after the Hydra Squad formation.
With a purge that clears him of any debuff and huge disrupts that can dismantle characters like Hela or Loki, Black Bolt has turned into a powerful character this meta. With perhaps the highest amount of damage that a character can deal with this patch, he can change the tides of most battles if you can keep him alive.
Try playing him with more defensive characters like Thanos, who can provide him with energy. Since Black Bolt is quite frail, he can't stand tall against a lot of burst heroes. So, letting him deal damage from afar while also feeding him with energy is the best thing you can for your overall DPS. Try to include Black Bolt in most of your drafts, as he can fit in in one way or another. Surprisingly, you don't need to complete his entire squad like you need to do for Symbiotes or Asgardians, as he is quite a strong character on his own and does not rely on his team.
The Latest addition of Anti Venom into the Symbiote squad has turned the team into a formidable pick for anyone serious about ranking up in the game. With Venom, Carnage, Symbiote Spidey, and now Anti-Venom, you have many choices for your final picks, with all of them considerable amounts of damage.
Anti-Venom is brought into the roster and talked about a lot since he successfully rounds out the roster with his strong attacks. Now, you can use the Symbiote team to beat even the Asgardians in both Raids and Dark Dimensions. Coupled with Symbiote Spidey's heal and his debuff, he can heal his enemies and block oncoming attacks quite well.
While he is a good character on his own since he provides many heals and can apply many buffs to his team, he brings a lot to the table for any serious Symbiote player, which turns him into a must-have for Symbiote team builders. Anti-Venom is also quite powerful against cast-reliant heroes.
With constant balance updates, content patches, buffs, and nerfs, MARVEL Strike Force is a top-rated game amongst both fans of the Universe in general or those who are interested in playing a polished brawler RPG that combines both strategy and mechanical skill.
With an immensely positive skill curve that is not easy to master, it attracts many new players every day. With these characters, you should be able to get quite an easy start with the ability to alter your lineup as you see fit once you get a better idea of what your play style is. In any case, these characters should serve you in Arena, Dark Dimensions, and Raids as well in a spectacular fashion.
