With the Spring has Sprung Campaign going strong with the feature banner of Arthur Pendragon, Fate/Grand Order is starting to celebrate its yearly White Day tradition with the special Celebration Campaign - Chaldea Boys Collection and brings with it many exciting and amazing rewards such as a Free CE, brand new skins and buffs for old servants, a brand new Event for all players to partake in and a special limited banner featuring the 5* Ruler Servant - Amakusa Shirou.

 

In this guide, we will go over the details of the Chaldea Boys Collection 2023 Celebration Campaign in celebration of White Day and show players how they can best obtain all of the rewards from this event in order to further strengthen their Chaldea servants roster in the future. In addition, we will go over whether or not players should roll for the rate up servant who got a brand new skin and a brand new buff - the 5* Ruler servant - Amakusa Shirou.

Fate/Grand Order Chaldea Boys Collection 2023 Campaign Guide

With White Day fast approaching, Fate/Grand Order is celebrating its annual White Day event with a male servants centric campaign - the Chaldea Boys Collection with brand new event exclusive free Craft Essences, a brand new event, several exclusive log-in campaigns that rewards up to 7 Free Summoning Tickets.

Chaldea Boys Collection Special Log-in Campaign

During the event campaign’s period, players when logged into the game, will be rewarded with special rewards each day they log-in with a special currency known as the Phantom Thief's Calling Cards that can be used to exchange free summoning tickets - up to 7 in total for 7 days of login.

Keep in mind that the log-in event period is extremely limited and is time sensitive, meaning if players miss logging in during the event period, they won’t be able to obtain the calling card of that day and will miss out on one of the summoning tickets available for grab during the event period. In addition, at the last day of the 7 days period, players will be rewarded with an event exclusive Command Code that can be used to strengthen a servant’s card abilities, so make sure to log in daily during the event’s period.

Special Free Craft Essence 

The traditional reward of the Chaldea Boys Collection annual event, during the event period, when logged in for the first time, players will be rewarded with a special envelope that will allow players to exchange for 1 of the 9 event exclusive special Craft Essences that the event has available. These Craft Essences are of limited quantity and come in a variety of rarity and have different abilities so players should choose carefully when picking the Craft Essence that they can get from the envelope.

The Available Craft Essences are as followed:

- 5* Flowers and Cafe: Increase Star Weight by 400% and Quick performance by 10%

- 5* Club Argonauts: Grants Invincible Pierce and increase Critical Damage by 25%

- 4* The Dantes Files - A Nightmare Returns: Increase Quick Card Performance, NP Damage and NP Generation Rate by 8%.

- 4* Round Table On Ice: Gains debuff immunity for 1 turn, reduces damage taken by 300.

- 4* Demonic Parade: Overcharges Np by 1 stage (1 time), Increases critical damage and NP damage by 10%.

- 3* Chaldea Eleven: Increase Arts Effectiveness by 2% and Critical Damage by 3%, Gain 1 star per turn.

- 3* Supreme Place of Learning: Increase Arts Effectiveness by 3%, Gain 1% Np gauge every turn.

- 3* Splat Gun: Grants Evade for 1 time, increase Quick Effectiveness by 3%.

- 3* Infinity Dream: Increase Arts and Buster Effectiveness by 3%, increase NP Generation by 3%.

Of the 9 Craft Essences, players should aim and exchange for the 2 5* Craft Essences as not only are they the hardest ones to get, but their effects are also extremely powerful and beneficial to have in your roster for future fights.

Special Exclusive Event - Phantom Thief Amakusa and The Slapstick Museum

Together with a special campaign celebrating Chaldea Boys Collection, a special brand new 2 weeks event has been introduced in order for players to partake in order to obtain various rewards and even saint quarts that they can use to roll for brand new servants. The 2023 Chaldea Boys Collection event is that of The Phantom Thief Amakusa Shirou and the Slapstick Museum, following his escapades to obtain a special holy grail that grants all wishes.

During the event’s period, players will be tasked with completing special event story quests in order to advance in the story and obtain the main reward of the event - the holy grail, with each event story quests being updated and unlocked gradually as the event progresses. In addition, in order to unlock each specific event story quests, players will need to farm free quests and obtain various event currencies to exchange for special items in the shop, allowing players to obtain various amounts of character EXPs, character upgrading materials, special Event exclusive Craft Essences and A Brand New Free skin for the servant Amakusa Shirou.

 

The 9 special Craft Essences available for grab during the Chaldea Boys Collection Campaign will also have special effects during this event period, allowing players to obtain more event currencies when their servants are equipped with the appropriate Craft Essences that corresponded with the specific Event Currencies. Players should take advantage of these and obtain the Craft Essences in order to advance in the event more quickly and more efficiently to obtain all of the event’s rewards.


Special Rate Up Banner - Should You Roll

Together with the Chaldea boys Collection Celebration Campaigns and the Amakusa Shirou and the Slapsticks Museum Special Event, a special Rate UP banner featuring the star of the show, the 5* Event Limited Ruler Servant - Amakusa Shirou is available for all players to try and get him.

Amakusa Shirou

Amakusa Shirou is a 5* Ruler servant that specializes in dealing massive amounts of damage to all enemies before him with his unique Noble Phantasm that removes all enemies’ buffs before dealing damage, making him an extremely powerful foe when coming against and is a very reliable ally when used.

Amakusa Shirou’s skill kit is a typical farmer kit with the ability to not only charges his NP gauge by himself every turn but also helps his own damage output by increasing his Buster Performance by 30% for 3 turns, allowing his Buster Cards and Buster Noble Phantasm deal massive amounts of damage when paired with the right support servants.

 

Amakusa Shirou’s Noble Phantasm is notorious for being of the most powerful and annoying Noble Phantasm to fight against as his Noble Phantasm completely removes all enemies’ buffs, even their defensive buffs before dealing a massive amounts of damage to them, making the enemies take the damage no matter if they have been buffed or not, making him a very reliable servant to use for challenge quests.

Should You Pull

No You Should Not. Not only is Amakusa Shirou a very difficult servant to level up and use at the current state, he does require  a lot of support with other servants that are needed to make him a good damage dealer. So it is better to save up your currencies currently and get those support servants first before attempting to roll for Amakusa Shirou in the future.
