About Yun Jin

---

un Jin is a new 4-star character who appears on Shenhe's limited-time banner alongside Shenhe. She wields a Polearm and is a Geo vision bearer. Yun Jin is a well-known dancer, singer, and brewer who works at the Heyu Tea House. She is the director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe and a well-known character in the opera scene in Liyue Harbor. She is noted for her energetic and dynamic performances, lovely singing voice, and elaborate costumes. She can play any role, whether a delicate and dignified young lady or a powerful and honorable heroine. 

 

However, what is remarkable is that Yun Jin, who has always projected a dignified and elegant image, has a little-known hobby: she enjoys listening to rock 'n' roll. She can be employed as a shield character in gameplay because her elemental skill provides a burst while also dealing with Geo damage.

Normal Attack - Cloud-Grazing Strike

 

• Normal Attack: Performs up to five spear strikes in a row.
• Charged Attack: To lunge forward and do damage to opponents, a specific amount of Stamina is consumed.
• Plunge: Plunges from mid-air to the ground below, inflicting damage on all enemies in its route and dealing AoE Geo DMG on hit.

 

 

Elemental Skill - Opening Flourish

 

Ms. Yun may be acting out fights on stage, but her spear abilities are real enough to defend her opponents.

 

• Press: In a cloud-grasping position, she flutters her polearm, delivering Geo DMG.
• Hold: Charges up in the Whirling Opener Stance, generating a shield. Yun Jin's maximum HP is used to calculate absorption. When the skill's duration expires, or the shield is broken, Yunjin will use the stored energy as an attack that does Geo DMG. Depending on how long you have held the ability, it will either launch a Charge Level 1 or Charge Level 2 attack.

 

Elemental Burst - Cliffbreaker's Banner

 

Deals AoE Geo DMG and provides a Flying Cloud Flag Formation to all nearby party members. When opponents are dealt with Normal Attack DMG, Bonus DMG is applied based on Yun Jin's current DEF. After a certain amount of time or after being activated a certain number of times, the effects of this skill will be erased.

 

When a single Normal Attack hits numerous opponents, the effect is activated multiple times, depending on how many opponents were struck. With Flying Cloud Flag Formation, the number of times the effect is triggered is counted separately for each party member.

 

Passive Talents

 

• True to Oneself - When you use Opening Flourish at the exact moment Yun Jin is attacked, it will transform into its Level 2 Charged (Hold) form.
• Breaking Conventions - When the party contains characters of 1/2/3/4 Elemental Types, the Normal Attack DMG Bonus offered by Flying Cloud Flag Formation is enhanced by 2.5% /5% /7.5% /11.5% of Yun Jin's DEF.
• Light Nourishment - There is a 12% possibility of getting double the product when Perfect Cooking is accomplished on Food with Adventure-related effects.

 

 

Constellations

 

• Thespian Gallop- Opening Flourish's cooldown is decreased by 18%.
• Myriad Mise-En-Scène- AfterCliffbreaker's Banner is activated, the Normal Attack DMG of all nearby party members is raised by 15% for 12 seconds.
• Seafaring General- Cliffbreaker's Banner's level is raised by three. The maximum level of upgrade is 15.
• Flower and a Fighter- Yun Jin's DEF is boosted by 20% for 12 seconds when she activates the Crystallize Reaction.
• Famed Throughout the Land- Increases the Opening Flourish Level by 3. The maximum level of upgrade is 15.
• Decorous Harmony- Characters affected by the Flying Cloud Flag Formation gain a 12% increase in their Normal ATK SPD.

Best Weapon

 

She doesn't have a BiS weapon, but there are a lot of weapons that you can use for her. If you have "Staff of Homa," it would be great to use on Yun Jin. It increases HP, helps increase Yun Jin's shield strength, and boosts her ATK. If the wielder's HP falls below half, the multiplier increases to a full 1%. 

 

For 4-star weapons, you can use "Deathmatch" since Yun Jin is also a DEF scaling character. You can also opt for "The Catch" and "Favonius Lance" as alternate options.

 

Best Artifact Set

 

The best artifact set for Yun Jin would be the 4-piece "Husk of Opulent Dreams." It scales with regards to DEF, so it works perfectly with Yun Jin's kit. If you don't have good enough pieces, you can always go for a 2-piece Husk and 2-piece Archiac Petra combination.

 

Husk Of Opulent Dreams-

• 2-piece effect - DEF +30%
• 4-piece effect - The on-field character's Geo damage grants +6% DEF and +6% Geo damage in stacks of one every 0.3s, for a total of four stacks. One stack is gained every three seconds when off-field. The buff loses one stack every 6 seconds if no new stacks are gained.

 

The second combination that you can use is 2-piece Archiac Petra and 2-piece Noblesse Oblige.

 

Archiac Petra -

• 2-piece effect- Gain a 15% Geo DMG bonus

 

Noblesse Oblige -

• 2-piece effect - Elemental Burst DMG +20%

 

The artifact stats you need for her will mostly be DEF%, DEF% or Geo DMG Bonus, Crit Rate, or Crit Damage.

 

Yun Jin is a fantastic Geo Support who can protect characters and enhance their standard attacks. Yun Jin can be used in various teams that require shielding or Geo resonance activation. Yoimiya is an excellent choice for pairing with Yun Jin because her damage will skyrocket thanks to the Cliffbreaker's Banner bonus, which can be used without any constellations.
