The famous developers Sega, Crypton Future Media, and Colorful Palette recently published the launch date of the eagerly-awaited rhythm game Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage. The game has been decided to be released on Android and iOS devices worldwide on December 7, 2021. The developers also teased a trailer of HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! on their official YouTube Channe on October 26, 2021,
As the name reveals, it has a very vibrant, colorful atmosphere combined with Japanese music. It has a close similarity to a game called Piano Tiles, which means you will have to click or tap on the tiles that come nearer to you at a quick and fast speed that go hand in hand with the song's beat. What makes HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! interesting is, while you play, a concert plays out its tune at the same time in the back. The characters dance and sing to the song that is played, and there is an audience present that keeps cheering them on. It gives you the feeling of being the DJ of some sort as you keep binding the beats, and the concert goes on.
The latest trailer primarily gave us a glimpse of the various characters, their personalities, their Voice Actresses/Actors, and a few group songs. There are 20 characters distributed into 5 groups for players to have as much fun as possible.
Even though the exact details are still unknown, the game will probably have the same songs, if not extra, as the Japanese version of the game.
HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! is all set to be released worldwide on December 7, 2021. Even though the developers are launching it globally, they intend to retain the songs in the Japanese language. Thus, not including western artists. Additionally, it allows you to interact with the in-game characters virtually. Subtitles will be provided for these virtual interactions but unfortunately no subtitles for the lyrics. They also offer a Gacha feature as a bonus, but it will probably surface in a future update.
The game will be playable in 130 countries and regions, including North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania. If you are already familiar with playing the Japanese version, you won't be able to shift your progress to the global version.
HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! still tries very hard to retain its Japanese essence. It provides you with a little extra content that doesn't allow it to become repetitive and boring. It will be available for Android as well as iOS devices. You can also visit their official site for more details and information.
Many games try to maintain the same gameplay aesthetics as the original, which helps retain existing players and provide them with a new experience and simultaneously attract new players. This game definitely takes the cake when it comes to casual gameplay for both Android and iOS players.
