League Of Legends Wild Rift recently got some big changes in regards to runes, champions, etc. Below you will find the complete patch notes of LOL Wild Rift to go through each change. These changes can really impact your gameplay and game style. So, without further ado, let’s get started.
Once a swordmaster in the war hosts of Noxus, Riven rose through the ranks on the strength of her conviction and brutal efficiency and was rewarded with a legendary runic blade and a Warband of her own. However, on the Ionian front, Riven’s faith in her nation was tested and ultimately broken. She severed all ties to the empire, seeking to find her place in a shattered world, even as rumors abounded that Noxus had been reforged. Now forced to return in chains, she faces the judgment of her former homeland...
Riven will be released on June 3 at 0:01 UTC.
The Noxian occupation of Ionia produced many heroes, none more unlikely than the young Irelia of Navori. Trained in the ancient dances of her province, she adapted her art for war, using the graceful and carefully practiced movements to levitate a host of deadly blades. After proving herself as a fighter, she was thrust into the role of resistance leader and figurehead, and to this day remains dedicated to the preservation of her homeland.
Irelia will be released on June 3 at 0:01 UTC.
You and your closest friends can now level up together and earn new friendship titles! You can invite up to 20 friends to be a close friend through one of these titles:
Once your friend accepts your invitation to become a close friend, you will be able to increase your friendship level up to 4 different tiers by playing together and gifting each other.
You can also browse a timeline of your memories together while playing Wild Rift. Some of the other perks of upgraded friendships are shared champion pools, online notifications, friend status streaks, and showing off your status to other players!
You can now subscribe to any three friends on your list to be notified when they come online or finish a match. They’ll also show up at the top of your friend list.
All Random All Mid is back for its second round of testing. Based on your feedback, we’re bringing it back earlier than we originally planned. Wrap up warm, it’s time for another go-around on the Howling Abyss!
ARAM will be available from June to July.
In Ranked champ select, players can switch their draft order to better accommodate comfort picks and counter-picking.
You’re now able to check your connection before you get into a game through the icon in the top right of the home screen. Additionally, you can run a network test based on the game you just played. Use this to diagnose any issues that are impacting your gameplay!
We’ve added a dual-channel 4G/Wi-Fi option for players that want to turbocharge their in-game connection.
Please note with this option enabled, you may use a small amount of mobile data when connected to Wi-Fi.
Patch 2.3 introduces a range of changes to runes to accommodate more varied pre-game decision-making.
All skins will be released throughout the patch. Future 2.3 skins will be released in subsequent patches.

AKALI
Akali is frustratingly strong in the early game, but also a bit difficult to play. We’re giving a nod to our friends at PC who recently addressed this by re-balancing her base stats and simplifying her energy regeneration mechanics. By reducing her early game tankiness, her laning success isn’t guaranteed, but on the shuriken flip side, her overall net buff with later dueling payoff will be deadly when she strikes. With her new Maximum Energy mechanic, Akali will no longer be punished for activating Twilight Shroud (2) at the wrong energy levels.
Base Stats
(1) Five-Point Strike
(2) Twilight Shroud
(3) Shuriken Flip
(Ult) Perfect Execution
BLITZCRANK
Blitzcrank’s been running a bit sluggish, so this change will help him run smoother without overclocking him.
(P) Mana Barrier
(2) Overdrive
CAMILLE
We are making Camille a bit easier to play by causing her tapcasted Hookshot (3) to auto-target walls. This way, the Steel Shadow can spend her efforts fully focused on engaging foes rather than hunting for suitable terrain.
(3) Hookshot
DARIUS
Darius has been cutting his way through enemies too easily in the early game. We are axing the Attack Damage he gains when reaching full stacks of his Noxian Might (passive) during his first few levels to ensure he doesn’t get carried away too fast.
(P) Noxian Might
DIANA
With her recent buffs, Diana has been enjoying her time in the moonlight a little too much. We are reeling her in so she has to work a bit harder if she wants to snowball through her opponents.
Base Stats
(P) Moonsilver Blade
(Ult) Moonfall
FIZZ
The Tidal Trickster doesn’t want to be anchored to just one swim lane, so we’re giving him a small buff to make him better suited for the jungle to increase his role flexibility. In addition, Fizz’s Playful/Trickster (3) is now more rewarding when used right and less punishing when misplayed.
(P) Seastone Trident
(3) Playful / Trickster
GAREN
Garen is too good at attritioning out his opponents with his tankiness and low ultimate cooldown. We are toning this down so he doesn’t become the absolute king of Baron lane.
Base Stats
(Ult) Demacian Justice
GRAGAS
Gragas’ drinking is becoming a problem. He is shrugging off too much damage while dishing out too much himself. These changes should help the Rabble Rouser sober up into a more reasonable state.
(2) Drunken Rage
KENNEN
After his electrifying debut, Kennen is now struggling to keep his spark alive. We are giving him a small voltage boost so he can maintain his shock value a bit longer.
(1) Thundering Shuriken
(2) Electrical Surge
KHA’ZIX
The Void Reaver has a unique mechanic we believe needs a bit more massaging to match Wild Rift’s faster pace and smaller map. We are making it easier for targets to become isolated so Kha’Zix can live out his predatory dreams more frequently.
(P) Unseen Threat
PANTHEON
We are bringing Pantheon’s Grand Starfall (Ult) to be more similar to League PC as a way to help him out and give the Unbreakable Spear more options to itemize pure AD without investing in AD penetration.
(Ult) Grand Starfall
RAKAN
Rakan is struggling to perform compared to his counterparts, so we are buffing his base stats and lowering his shield cooldown. This should allow Charmer to dance his way into battle later in the game more often.
Base Stats
(P) Fey Feathers
RAMMUS
Rammus’ early jungle clear was too slow for comfort while his damage scaling was too high. We’re adjusting his base stats to help him gain momentum faster early on while dulling his spikes a bit to make him less tanky in the late game. This way, we hope players don’t start hatin’ when they see him rollin’.
Base Stats
(2) Defensive Ball Curl
RENEKTON
This toothy, psychotic crocodile did not have a full meal before escaping his entombment, so we’re giving Renekton some juicy damage and healing buffs. Who knew that being trapped underground for thousands of years would hinder one from reaching their full potential?
Base Stats
(1) Cull the Meek
TWISTED FATE
Another buff is in the cards for Twisted Fate as he continues to feel inconsistent in the late game. We are returning a portion of his Attack Speed from Stacked Deck (3) back to a passive always-on version.
(3) Stacked Deck
WUKONG
Wukong was monkeying around too much and underperforming in lane. We are giving him some more laning power to encourage him to play outside the comfort of his jungle. Also, we are adding a refund mechanic to his Golden Staff (1) so the Monkey King needs to stick on targets longer instead of aim to blow them up instantly.
(1) Golden Staff
(2) Warrior Trickster
XIN ZHAO
Xin Zhao’s kit is a bit outdated; however, our friends in League PC had a successful mini-rework for him.. We are bringing some of those changes over to help match the Seneschal of Demacia to a more modern champion design.
Base Stats
(P) Determination
(1) Three Talon Strike
(2) Wind Becomes Lightning
(3) Audacious Charge
(Ult) Crescent Guard
ZIGGS
The Hexplosives Expert is getting too carried away with damaging structures, so we are turning down his explosive impact just a bit.
Base Stats
The following are ARAM changes you need to know about:
ASHE
GALIO
JHIN
JINX
KHA’ZIX
NASUS
RENEKTON
RENGAR
SINGED
SONA
ZIGGS
The following are gameplay changes you need to know about:
First of all, is Items, RIOT has made some massive changes in items and you need to be careful about picking items:
Black Cleaver is being overshadowed by Trinity Force too often. We are giving it a bump to help it keep up with the faster pace of the game and to diversify item build paths.
Dead Man’s Plate is too strong overall given its high utility, so we are tuning down some of its generic tank power to lighten its impact.
AD Assassin play styles are missing their marks, so we are giving a small nudge to their primary damage item to balance to increase their viability.
The Maw feels underwhelming as a hybrid defense and offense tool, so we are bumping it up to make it worth the purchase.
Trinity Force has been doing its job too well, particularly for champions who rely on Attack Speed. To slow their roll a bit, we are tuning it down.
We’re implementing a number of changes and upgrades to the current rune offering to help increase the variety of pre-game setups.
Hitting a champion with 3 separate attacks or abilities within 3 seconds grants a large burst of Movement Speed and resistance to slows.
After taking damage from a champion, the next 3 champion abilities or attacks against you deal reduced damage.
Gain increased health regeneration. Also, after taking damage from an enemy champion, regenerate a portion of your missing health. This effect is doubled for melee champions.
Gain bonus max health, and also gain increased defense when below 50% health.
