Dividing makes the guide easier to consume when it is divided into parts like this.

The first section of this guide includes information necessary for new players as they are beginners and just need a refresher to get them on better footing with other players.
UI of this game looks kind of cool as if reading a book while you're out and about adventuring, which is a good thing as many players stay longer if UI is built well and friendly. Let’s inspect each of these UI menu integrations below.
The Center of the screen shows the Map of the continent of Armuda, which shows you the locations of your battles, and which Chapter of the story you are playing right now. Tap on the current battle location to start the fight. At the bottom of the screen, there are game options. The top of the screen shows the number of coins and gems currently acquired.
There is the Merchant button in the middle of the bottom of the screen, where you can enhance your characters using Gold and gems. Just beside that, there is the game's shop, where you can buy game stuff with real money to get a head-start in the progression of the game.
Just aside from that, there is the Guild, where you can fight strong bosses and gain lots of gems and coins. Adjacent to that, the mission button shows you the current missions you can take in the game. You can store all your collectibles in the Bag.
Tap on the Heroes button to check the character's detailed stats and skills. Next to that is the squad button, where you can deploy and change your heroes' positions.
Finally, to top it off, you can find the live chat option, where you can chat with other players while playing and ask for advice.
Every game starts with a story from afar of land, and this game is no different. The game story revolves around the Continent of Armuda, which was once beaming of gods and Dragons, and then left and deserted by the gods.
In this century, the world is filled with hate, corruption, and crime. Due to the rupturing of a protective seal, a great villain who once escaped the land of Armuda has returned and poses a great danger to the land. Now, the gods must return to the world, set aside their differences, and fight the battle to exorcise the demon.
This game also provides you with lots of options to buy at the shop, including even idle cards and monthly cards. Then there is an events shop where you can buy stuff with the currency you acquire during different live events, which will rotate every 30 days. The event shop is a great place to buy summoning materials or shards for Heroes, which plays a significant role in their Ascension.
The guild shop provides you with high-quality gear for your characters, and these you can buy with Guild currency which you can get by as many guild events as possible. Some items become unlocked to purchase only after you have ranked your Guild to a certain level.
Finally, the PvP shop, where you can buy excellent Champion's shards from the wins and spoils of your Arena. Sur and Katos are two champions on rotation right now, which are outstanding champions to include in your roster.
All the fighters available in Magnum Quest are divided into six factions:
Each of them has advantages and disadvantages. The Levels of the characters increase with every battle. After the battle, you gain experience and gems and coins. Experience leads to leveling up. You'll need a specific amount of XP to get to the next level. You can use Gold and gems to upgrade the battle skills of the characters. You unlock new skills when you reach Level 11, which then provides you with two skills at any time during your adventure. Some heroes have three skills they can use.
Initially, you can play with only two characters available in the game. More characters are eventually included in the party, being rewarded to you for completing important story quests, with each level-up and completion of more missions. They can be positioned in different slots in the battle structure(The game will recommend which position is suitable for which character). Each character has its backstory; you can read them on the character unlocking screen. There is a maximum of 5 characters you can deploy in battle. You will have more than one skill that you can cast as soon as the skill starts flashing on the bottom right corner, where you can see your heroes' portraits.
Another thing that you need to take care of is the affinities of different enemies you’re going to fight. So, use that to your advantage. Though that's not important at the start of the game as you won't have many heroes that you can take care of affinities, so use whichever strong Hero you have at the time.
It is not enough to combine the right fighters in a team to win battles. Your Heroes need to be enhanced and equipped in better gear. As they level up, the Heroes will unlock new abilities and improve their characteristics. Leveling up is very important in any game as this makes your Heroes much more substantial, and if you don't ascend your heroes when they reach the max level of that Tier, you can not progress further. Let's discuss the Ascension in detail below.
You get champions at zero levels in the game, so if you need to level them up, either you play the game or feed them low-level heroes. If you want to ascend them, you will need a Hero of the same type or even of the same faction, depending on the type of Ascension. You can start summoning as soon as you finish Chapter 1, and for these 12 stages, the game gives you one summon.
The most robust increase in parameters will be felt when the quality of the fighter is increased. There are three grades of Hero quality in Magnum Quest are as follows:
Most often, you will acquire bronze and silver Heroes. Meanwhile, it is better to get rid of the Bronze, if you have enough of them, right away and get retirement Gold for them. They will come in handy for recruiting new and best Heroes.
Silver characters are a temporary link. At the beginning stages, they can be used in battles, simultaneously leveling the most promising fighters. Over time, you will upgrade these heroes to the gold level.
Gold-level heroes in Magnum Quest are the Rarest. Their prominent feature is the presence of four skills and a particular branch of talents that you can unlock during the leveling process. Silver fighters only have three skills. Moreover, this number does not change even after their transformation into Gold. Ascension is an essential aspect of any Gacha Turn-based RPG game which means to increase the Tier or Rarity of the Hero by feeding it with specific required materials. Let's talk about the first Ascent, which concerns the silver levels, and you will see why these silver levels are critical.
Let's take a random faction from the elves to start our example. When you get a Silver Hero, they don't have any stars on them. To be able to Tier up these champions. If you have a no-star hero, you'll need two identical Heroes of the same Tier or no-star Heroes to ascend this Silver Hero to 1*. The peculiarity here is that it requires 2 of these Heroes from the same faction, Heroes from other factions can not help our Silver Hero to ascend to 1*.
You can use this method to Ascend your lower Tiered Heroes to Higher Tiers; you can ascend even a Silver Tier Hero this way to the Gold Tier. Ascending becomes much easier if you have an identical copy of the Hero, which surpasses the Star level of that Hero you are ascending. Finally, if you have a 5* Hero, this time, you'll need two more Heroes to make the jump to 6*, not one feed like the previous Tiers, which is where the game gets complicated. So, for example, if we have a 5* Feng, we would need 2 Feng of any Rarity, but if it is not Feng, we would need 2 5* Heroes to ascend. The Tier increments will allow you to allow your Heroes to level up.
In the Bounty Book, the higher your Rarity and Tier levels, the more challenging missions you can participate in and get more rewards. Leveling up will also increase your League of Hunters level, which will allow you to level up in the Stone of Sages as in the Stone of Sages, which allows you to have higher ATK and DEF bonus buffs from the Stone of Sages book. Therefore, Ascension is a crucial part of the game that you must not ignore.
You can retire heroes when you don't need them but don't retire bronze heroes at the start of the game, as you'll need them pretty much to strengthen your progression. In the later stage of the game, you'll have enough Heroes that you can automatically do that to get mats. Also, because you can ascend Silver heroes in the early stages to make your game much more potent, they are easier to get and ascend than your Gold heroes.
Let's now talk a bit about the positioning and synergies of different champions and how they can benefit you in the game for your progression. You have three types of champions at your disposal which are based on Strength, Intelligence and Agility. Intelligent-based champions are either DMG-oriented or provide buffs to your allies and debuff enemies. So, Intelligence-based heroes provide you a complete package. You can check each Hero in detail what they can do and what aspects are the strongest for each.
Let's take the example of Naomi; she is an interesting Hero but doesn't have too much HP. She is balanced in terms of inclining a little bit towards Buffing and Debuffing. She needs to be placed at the backline of your team as she needs to be protected by other heroes of your roster. Alden is the example of a Tank Hero who can take a lot of beating and Crowd Control the battlefield. The following example is Feng, an Agility-based Hero, which we are sure we can put in front as he can deal good damage quickly without giving the enemy too much time. So the Force or Attacker Champions will always be melee while the Intelligence Champions will always be ranged and go in the backline of the positioning.
The game allows you to reset your invested Hero if you need some materials to ascend your main Hero. Hero reset is a fantastic feature as if you have invested in Hero and meanwhile, you get a much stronger Hero, so you can just reset the present Hero to use the materials to Ascend your new Hero. This only costs you 10 gems, which is meager to do such an important step to make your Heroes more powerful. This function also is quite helpful for a Hero who you don’t use much. The only thing you cannot recover is any Champion you used during that Ascend, and in that case, using Silver Heroes as Ascension material is recommended.
This function in the game has given you because, at the beginning of the game, you power up any Hero to progress the game, while in the End-Game, you have more options in terms of Heroes. So the previous Heroes that you have already Ascended are destined to stay on the bench. These options give them a new life.
To get to Star Map, you ascend your Hero to the final Tier, the Legendary Tier, and this opens up the Star Chart for your heroes, who are a great tool to maximize your Heroes further. These give you different nodes where you can increase the stats of your Heroes. Unlocking nodes can either increase your ATK values or give a boost to another stat, like a 5% increase to your Crit. You can go on unlocking each of the nodes in the Star chart to enhance your Hero further. Upon unlocking further nodes, they open up to more stars or nodes in the Chart. The final stages of the Star Chart are the memories chart of the Silver and Memories chart of the Gold Standard.
Maximizing the Star Chart is a daunting task that needs a lot of investment, so choose one Hero thoughtfully and then maximize to your Heart’s content to fully enjoy the game.
Artifacts or gear in this game, like many others, are an essential aspect of the game. You can get them from the shop, different dungeons, Guild and Guild events, etc. you can even get them from the Challenges in the game. Different Heroes can equip different types of Artifacts. For example, let's take Ares as a Force-Based Hero on whom you would prefer Fury-based Artefacts that give you Hits, have less PHY DMG, and gain a 20% Crit rate when you have four equipped at the same time.
Be mindful of the type of gear you're focusing on to equip. Secondly, remember what you want on the Hero, in terms of stats. Sometimes if you want to increase the ATK of a Hero and you can maximize ATK in this case but don't have any sets on them, it is perfectly fine; for example, if a four-piece set gives you a 20% increase in Crit, but you lose ATK, this option is highly not advised.
Also, whichever stat you are hunting for, there is a massive difference between each Tier of the Artefacts, and it is a crucial point you must consider.
The next topic we are going to discuss in our Beginner's Guide is the runes. Runes are also the unique aspect of empowering you Heroes that shouldn't be neglected. For starters, you have three types of Runes:
The Attack Rune, which increases your Hero's attack, starts as increasing 1% if you have them at Gold Tier and three stars. Attack Rune is the Level 1 of the Rune, which adds Crit DMG when it is enhanced to 4* while increasing both ATK and Crit DMG when 5*.
Second is the Revitalization Rune, which helps you gain energy points per second during the battle, which becomes useful for some of your Heroes.
3rd is the Gracious outpouring Rune which increases your DEF and restores 1% of your max HP every 3 sec. during battle and at max rarity, gives you the max values of these stats
The runes, like all others, provide increased bonuses with increasing Tier and Rarity. Secondly, the bronze Tier has only three stats while silver will have four, and finally, the Gold will have five stats at the base level, which adds up to your Hero's potential. To increase the level and Ascension of your Runes, you will need three potions: Breath of the Mortal, Breath of the Spirit, and Breath of the Divine. You will use the Breath of the Mortal to increase your Runes to Bronze level, while You will use Breath of the Spirit to get your Runes to Silver Level, and finally, you will use the Breath of the Divine potion to increase the Tier up to Gold.
For example, if you want to increase the Rarity of a 2* Silver Rune to 3*, which will be the max in this Tier, you would need Four Breath of the Mortal. Similarly, if you want to increase your Silver Rune from 3* to 4*, you can strengthen it, you would need eight Breaths, and for Gold increase, you will need 16 to increase the Rarity level of Breath of the Divine. You can get potions from different missions in the game or by dismantling your Runes. Each dismantling depends on the Rune Tier; you get different types and numbers of potions.
Once you have chosen which Runes you want to mount on your main Hero, it is vital to confirm your investing characteristics. For example, when we talk about Ares, you would want to invest in DMG for the Hero. Consequently, you will choose Runes that can maximize the DMG, meaning you would go for ATK and add up Crit DMG.
You can farm runes from the Ash, The Corrupt Stone Spirit, Dungeon. With the increasing level of the Dungeon, the better your chances of getting a Gold Rune, but for that, you periodically need to invest in your Heroes and increase their power.
Like in most Idle RPGs, this game has an auto-battle system. Every character has different skills available to them. Use The skill buttons of each Hero to activate their skills. Or, you can enjoy some good quality action when they're fighting. Character movements in the battle are automatic.
Apart from the mainline story, there is a wide variety of battles: rogue-like battles, Dungeon Conquests, Enemy raids, and epic fights against the mighty guild bosses.
After the game starts, you get the 2x speed and auto-battle quite early on. Let's now discuss various combat that you can do in this game which is very important to move you forward because each battle will give you a small chest as a reward to gain more XP, Gold, and some artifacts, which eventually increases your level to become stronger. When you are at a higher level, you get more Idle or AFK rewards per minute of the game you are not playing, so keep that in mind.
Dungeons:
The next thing we talked about is the Dungeons. There are different types of Dungeons. Some regular classic types of dungeons and some Trials or Tests that are on rotation which you can do once every two days. These trials aren't that difficult and can be done with most heroes. These are important to do as you will get great rewards, and these count towards your daily quests, which are also very important.
Arena:
Next is Arena, which is also not much difficult and you can do them daily, and you can win some things eventually from the Arena shop. In the Arena, you can see the powers of different opponents to see which matches your power and have a fair fight with them.
Endless Dungeons:
In Endless Dungeons, you will venture inside the catacombs to fight your enemies. Defeating a group of enemies will bring some gold and other resources, which you can then spend on discovering new ones and leveling your heroes up. You can find a lot of enemies in this Dungeon.
Trials:
More powerful rewards await you in Trials. However, you will need to defeat 21 enemy groups led by the main boss to get them. In essence, the task is not very difficult. Even newbie players can complete it. There you will be helped by getting random bonuses that you will encounter during the challenge. You have two days to complete the challenge. After that, progress is reset.
Raids:
The biggest reward that you can get is in Raids in Magnum Quest. But to loot them, you will have to try hard. The mode's difficulty lies in the fact that after each fight, your heroes cant restore their HP, as it happens in the campaign or trials. Therefore, in raids, it is essential to have several fighters who can replace the main characters.
After the informational section above, which will open up your mind to the Magnum Quest gameplay, this section includes important Tips to speed up your progression with a few most important tricks.
Following are some General Tips and Tricks that will prove helpful in your game's progression.
The next type of tips and tricks comes directly from the game developers in collaboration with LDPlayer. To minimize the monotony of the game and make farming that much easier, Magnum Quest’s Developers explained in detail how to use macros, which we will explain below. Keep in mind this macro is primarily designed to cater to the daily activities and would land you 100 points of Dailies and collect rewards; this might not correctly work for other tasks in the game.
Before we begin, some critical points you need to know:
Script Instructions:
Follow the steps described below for optimum functioning:
Functioning of the Script:
Please note that the emulator must run the script in full-screen mode with a desktop screen resolution of 1920×1080 (FullHD)
The script runs for about 8 minutes so that you can go for a coffee.
In this section, we are going to talk about the top mistakes to avoid in this game.
Mistake number 1 is Hero Ascension. If you go into your Hero glossary, you can see that all the Heroes are broken up into categories. Starting from Legendary Tier, Gold Tier, Silver, and then Bronze Tier. Gold Tier Heroes are the ones you won't be able to upgrade past 3*, and the level cap is 200 for them. These are your safest source of hero fodder except for the Hero Gaia, which you shouldn’t spend as fodder as she is a monster DD Hero and she is easy to upgrade. When upgrading, you don't want to use your Legendary heroes; instead, use the upgraded silver ones. Another point to consider, which we haven't mentioned in our ascension section, is that if you want to Ascend a 1* base Gold Hero, you don't upgrade by using another copy of it; instead, you use, as we said, a silver one. The reason behind not using a copy is that you might not get another copy, so the identical copy can be used when upgrading from 2* to a 3* in which you might take longer if you use a Silver Hero.
2nd mistake, not Utilizing the Shop resources. From the General tab of the store, it is highly recommended to buy the 1,500 Barrel at a 75% discount for 3 million Gold every day. The barrel is what is needed to upgrade your Heroes. The higher you increase the level of your Heroes, the Barrels you will need, so the number gets pretty high pretty quickly.
3rd mistake is to upgrade too many Heroes in the same faction. When playing Hero collector or Gacha games, you never want to put all your eggs in one basket. Don't overcommit to one faction, as you will starve yourself of Hero food and slow down your potential progression altogether. Start with one of the factions, especially the ones you need to clear the content with and make a rainbow team, mainly due to this reason. Later on, you can start investing in one more from each of the factions.
4th big mistake to avoid is leveling up more Heroes than needed. You can see your core five on the left and all of your subs on the right in the Heroes menu. So the Heroes on your right will take the level of the lowest level of your core 5. increasing other's levels this way is an important note because, for starters, you only need to level up your 5 Heroes. Do not invest XP and Barrel into a 6th as it is pointless as you can just add them to your bench.
5th Big mistake, not utilizing Set Equipment/Runes. Avoid upgrading non-set gear as it is not beneficial as it doesn’t give you those additional stats as the set gear does. Different bosses drop different set-pieces.
This guide should have enlightened you in the information we gave, which can help you not make mistakes when starting, which can eventually slow you down as soon as you hit the mid-game. The mistakes you can make aren't that disastrous but spending Gems can slow you down if not done correctly.
Ascension is the core of the game as without Powerful higher Tier Heroes, you can not clear harder content to get better loot, and the cycle repeats. If you don’t have the duplicate of your main Hero, you can always Ascend your Silver Heroes. You can check out our Magnum Quest Tier list to know about characters and how you should proceed.
